I am confused. Who do you mean needs to be chased out of town? The school board candidates?

No, I was referring to SEPAC.

However, I feel that way about every single person in the FCUSD that has any (and I do mean even a tiny bit) of involvement in the processes of Special Education policies.

They stink of HS.

But, that's just my very disgruntled personal opinion.

“The one important thing I have learned over the years is the difference between taking one's work seriously and taking one's self seriously. The first is imperative and the second is disastrous.”

Thank you for your concern!

Thank you for the clarification. While I may not agree with you, I do understand your personal opinion. Just wanted to let you know though...the SEPAC is not affiliated with the district, nor are we involved in special education policies. You may be confusing us with the Community Advisory Committee...which is a district advisory committee and does involve itself regarding special education policies.

FYI: The SEPAC is there to provide a ear to listen to, a shoulder to cry on, and information to help educate families with a disabled child on their journey through the maze of resources, medical help, and yes, even special education. While you may not agree with it...and that is fine...it sometimes is a lifeline that is desperately needed when someone is facing these challenges.

Hope that helps. But...you are still entitled to your opinion. :)

Thanks for not getting in my face offended for hearing my opinion. After telling the school and their minions that their policy and them are like fleas wading in kiddie pool of BS--they pretty much will no longer listen to me at all. Two days ago a teacher yelled at my kid. No one gives a s---ake' . Repeatedly I have asked for grade updates and more communication through the kid agenda (provided by the school to make the kids more successful)--and i'm told absolutely no--go read edline. But edline doesn't tell me jack toodle until a month after the grades are F'-incompletes or missing and sure don't tell me if the kid is getting picked on, having a bad day, and why the special ed teacher is yelling at my kid.

Shiitttt-- they can't even really tell me how they are assisting the kid in addressing the kids deficencies according to the IEP. Well--except to say that the kid is 3 years behind the curve ball for kids in that grade level and it is against their policy to hold a kid back and keep them in grammar school another year to help their emotional health and learnig processes- catch up to their very tall bodies. I hate FCUSD. I wish they all were fired, tarrred, burned at the stakes and screwed the way they are screwing with my kids less than 20% on any star testing future but..... lets push the kid into the next grade so that no child is fricking left behind. Dont worry about the kids future. By the way--ms.blankety--have you considered your child will never be college material?

Did the entire FCUSD forget that the same was said about Albert Einstein?

and yeah--- the kid tests high on intelligence--they just cant seem to teach the kid. I hate FCUSD let's pat ourselves on the back for giving autuistic kids who really never will be able to function on their own a nice lunch hour---but lets not help those kids who are seriously slipping through the cracks of teacher denai-ability and just shoo them through the door to the next grade.

A big fat middle finger to anyone who works for FCUSD.

Although I agree with some of your statements, don't you think that's a little harsh? Are you seriously opposed to the idea that not even one teacher or staffer is amazing and kind and capable? If you have yet to experience one of these teachers, I feel truly sorry for you. You may be surprised to know that there are many of them in our little district, believe it or not.

Please don't feel sorry for me. I have already graduated primary education and found my niche.

I'm not whining about a lack of teachers who can teach.

Just administrators who lack the ability to give a tootle. Policies are meant to be subjective and flexible. In the situation my chld is in- a great deal of flexibility is needed.

Instead, my child has a special ed teacher who shouts at the students, refuses to communicate with the parents and has the vice pricipal call the parent to ask about stupid stuff.

AND---it is the school board who hires these people, right?

Do they possibly remind you of "The_Professor", a user on here who is a marginally employable career teacher?

I hope you're not judging their ability as teacher by what they post on an anonymous forum.

I think this is a common quote. "Check Edline".

Well, I checked it over the weekend and you know what ? A bunch of grades 4-5 weeks old just got posted....AND NOT ONE Homework, Quiz, or Test posted for this week. Old, stale info and nothing new to look at.

Since communication can be addressed for no costs, let's hear some ideas ? Is it too much to ask for grades weekly and possibly what will have points counted during the next week ?

I strive to be a marginal teacher. It takes a lot of work to read the the sports section and keep up with my fantasy baseball team with 35 kids in my class.

No, just judging your strange need to post using 5 or 6 ID's to create fake outrage against Tessica and Vincent.

You still have time to read in between posting under all your numerous ID's? Now that's talent! However, the fake outrage you're creating with all your ID's is misleading people (your goal I'm sure), you really should stop that nonsense and grow up.
