Awesome event that shows the heart, generosity and the power to mobilize for the greater good!

If you missed it, you really missed out - wow!

Love, light and energy to the 4J family,

Darth, nice meeting you and all the others at the myfolsom tables. Also nice seeing Steve again and we got to meet his wife too.

Great night. We did leave early, before all the tables were closed out. Hope they made a MINT.

What a fantastic night! Unofficially (still need to factor in some expenses and add in the bar totals which the Fraternal Order of the Eagles is donating - thanks guys!) we made approx. $14,000!!!! That far surpasses my goal of $10,000.

I really could not have done it without all my voluteers, many of whom are from this forum. Thank you to all of you! I will be sending out more personal thank you's once I have had some sleep and spent some time with my family this weekend! But I knew everyone would want to know how we did so I wanted to quickly jump on the forum and say thanks! You all are awesome, everyone who donated items or got items donated, spread the word about the event, volunteered to help a at the event or just bought tickets and attended.

A Big Thank You (because I didn't get the chance last night) to Ron Davis at Sac DJ for your mad DJ skills. You were really awesome and I had alot of compliments about you. Ron donated his services last night and I am so appreciative. Pretty good on the horns too!!!! Visit http://www.sacdj.com if you need any dj services!

More to come later!

This was an awesome event!! I really enjoyed meeting everyone at my table. Camay2327 your wifes paintings were really beautiful! Oh, I didnt catch the ladys name that brought the little tomatos and shared them with the Myfolsom tables but they were really yummy and I even went home and told my husband about them and he asked me what kind they were and I didnt even know so if anyone knows what kind they were could you let me know. I am so happy to have been a part of helping Jessica on the road to recovery!

My husband and I had a great time. It was nice meeting some of people of this forum. Jolene, you moved me by your words. Barb, you did an amazing job. Cal, your wife's paintings were beautiful. I am glad it was a successful event.

Thank you to all of the My Folsomites who came out, assisted Barb (before, after and during), who donated, bid, won, who have written to me, who have supported us from the very beginning, for everything... simply everything. You are all amazing and I am still trying to wrap my head around how my little girl brought so many wonderful people together last night. It was an overwhelming and amazing show of support and we are so grateful to each of you who played any sort of role in it. We appreciate every bit of energy you put toward healing our girl. She is making AMAZING progress this week, and I am just sentimental enough to believe that it has something to do with this huge concentration of energy, love and prayer that was put forth this past week for an event in her honor.

Thank you, everyone. The proceeds raised will help pay our out-of-pocket portion for a properly fitting wheelchair, our out-of-pocket portion for her foot orthotics to help prevent "foot drop", so that when she goes to stand and walk again, it will be easier, her therapy (when insurance finally cuts us off, which we have been warned they will do) and communication tools and/or a device that we will need REALLY SOON, as she is swiftly approaching the point of being able to use one! It is very, very exciting that we are now in a position, insurance wise, and funds wise to get her as much help as she needs to get better.

And as we have stated from the beginning, any unused portion of the funds will be donated to another family facing similar hardships or will be donated directly to UCDavis Medical Center.

Thank you, thank you, thank you just is not enough. Thank you so much for everything.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.
