Need some wings and a cold draft beer soon too... Let's get this wing place OPEN!

Although I don't eat wings too often anymore, the best I do get some every now and then. The best I've had in Folsom come from Chicago Fire, which are the traditional Buffalo style, and Manderes, which serves them with an awesome Racer 5 hot sauce. Both are great.

I occasionally make 'oven fried' wings with seasoned flour then serve with some kind of sauce and/or dip. Always a hit. I've been told that I'm not saving many fat calories by doing them in the oven, but it's not as messy as frying.

Yeah, the fat in the skin pretty much dominates, and unless you add batter to hold a lot of fat from frying, then frying won't increase the fat content that much. If you broil them, you may drive out more of the fat than just baking does, but regardless, chicken wings will never be a health food.
I would rather be Backpacking

Ohhh that sounds good although I would go for fresh spinach, spinach with a bit of bacon (because bacon makes everything taste better), or with onion or mushrooms.

Now, that spinach I would eat!
