interesting theories - I do think the fact that the compass is off has to do with something on the island, some cosmic force surrounding the island that caused the plane crash and the other inhabitants on the island.

UFOs seem a bit far fetched, but who knows.

I kinda wish Shannon was eaten by the monster. She's nasty.

She's so hot though thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I did like the fact that hallucinogens were introduced. Could be something that Locke has been putting in the boar meat?

Well they have a case with guns and bullets in it. Maybe he will take the powder out of the bullets and use that to blow the lid off....

Locke doesn't know about the guns though right? Only Kate and Jack know. Or else Ethan would be going on a killing spree...

True, only Kate and Jack know about the guns but....you confused me with the Ethan comment...

Ethan is the one suspected of taking Claire and trying to kill Charlie.....

I'm thinking that Locke put some hallucinogens into everyone's airplane drinks, and the whole crash is one big, common hallucination. Sort of like virtual reality . . .

I agree.....I never really noticed all the commercials until now....

Anybody else think the kid is now the key to this whole thing?...something about what his stepfather said and that comic book with the mean polar bear and island in the middle of the ocean....can't just be coincidence can it???

My guess: This will turn out to be Stephen King-ish. The kid, Walt, has some kind of mind power that manifests his imagination into reality. i.e. the bear and the knife throwing.

I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it. The whole kid with the "Shining" or the "Sixth Sense" or whatever has been done sooooo many times.

And by the way, why does no one give an F about Claire being kidnapped? Why don't they go look for her? What else do they have to do? Well, she's back now so nevermind.

The boy is just another twist to the story. Not sure how he will fit in. For the last few episodes, I thought Locke was the main focus. Then the whole "Pod" thing hasn't been mentioned again. What about the broken compass and the map puzzle? Like I said, this show had better pick up soon.
