Versus was again a disappointment where for Stage 3 they showed 20 secs of Auburn and jumped straight to 43 miles before the finish cutting out Folsom entirely.
Yes, very disappointing, but at the very end (right around 2 hrs. or so on my dvr) they did show a few seconds of the sprint winner coming through the Sutter/Riley intersection. Good shot of the Pizzeria Classico building, if nothing else . . . sigh . . .

well, that's good because they think that's a good sprint site! hopefully we'll get them back next year.

In answer to some previous posts wondering about costs, this is what the article also said:
"According to city officials, no extra fire or police personnel were called in for the race.
More than 120 volunteers were used to help with parking lot and driveway closures while 27 volunteers with CAPS helped with road closures. Direct costs incurred by the city totalted $2,250 but was offset by sponsorships. According to Robert Goss, the city's Parks and Recreation director, the net cost was a little more than $800."

I find going to SF a PITA. I'd rather go to Sonora - prettier drive.
