Stay safe everybody, some hints, from someone who works in Microbiology....
Every package you get, amazon, the US mail, spray them down, outside and inside, with alcohol, set them down in one place in your house, spray this place down too... 70% alcohol. Spray down any door knobs you touch on the way inside the house... Preferably open these in the garage, away from your main household.
Spray your door handles down, your keys, your door handles to your car. Live with hand sanitizer, use it always and often, cover your hands any time you touch something, every time...! Don't touch your face...!
Stay away from people, keep 6 feet distance at least, except at home, you live with those folks. Remember, if you bring it home you all will get it in the house, one by one. Trust me, you will.
One thing I do is that when I come home I take my shoes off and spray the soles with alcohol and leave them at the door. No tracking inside.
If you get take out food, only one of you handles the bags and the food containers, separate them out from the food, like in the garage, you want to minimize contact. One person separates the bags from the food, get rid of the bags to garbage and then you sanitize your hands and spray down the outside of the containers with alcohol before you bring them into the house proper.
You want to not get this. If you do, you want to get it more later than sooner. More therapies will be available in a few weeks so buy yourself time, you and your family. You really only want to go out once a week for food at the most, two weeks if you can. I am guessing in two weeks it will be the worst and then get better, slowly after that.
Stay safe, soap and water, alcohol is your friend (the rubbing kind), and make time work for you, not against you. Keep this virus away from you and yours as long as you can.
