If you pay attention to California's political news, you know that California's version of "Jessica's Law" did not pass our liberal legislature.

However, we may have a Jessica's Law initiative on the November ballot.

Any Parents concerned with child safety should look at www.folsomsafety.net.

They have a newsletter that gives all kinds of tips to help you train your children. They also hold free clinics in folsom every two months.

And on a side note. I know the faimily of the perpertrature intimately. Their entire lives are hurting...can u imagine the pain. A wife, a little girl, and a teenage boy. The true colors of folsom will show in how this faimily is treated. I will stand by them with every thing I have can you.

WHOA there folks, remember - he has not been found guilty. Let the evidence prove what he did before you start bashing him.

Anyone can be charged.

Yes, please hear what he says! ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can be charged. Also, don’t believe everything you hear. Unfortunately, I had a run in with Folsom PD many years ago which ended up following in charges based on their report. The report stated that there was an admission in guilt during an interrogation which was completely untrue! Once the DA interviewed me and watched the interrogation on tape they dropped all charges. I received a copy of the report that Folsom PD sent to the DA and it was completely twisted. I could not believe how they took things that were said and put them down on paper as something entirely different. Because Folsom PD recommended charges be filed, the DA automatically did without looking in to the case. My entire life was turned upside-down for 8 months because Folsom PD OUT RIGHT LIED and because the DA was too busy to get to my case. They kept postponing the investigation. It was then that I realized not to believe everything you hear.

After all of this was over I considered filing a suit again Folsom PD, but found out through a lawyer that what they did was legal. They can lie and manipulate any one in to saying pretty much anything. I am a very head strong woman and would never admit to anything I didn’t do, but I do see how some people may do so. It wasn’t until I sat in a small interrogation room with a police officer in my face telling me I did something I didn’t do to understand how a weak person could break under pressure.

In a way I am glad this has happened to me because it allows me to look at things in a whole different light. The only sad thing is that the people that are suppose to uphold the law can get away with what they do. It is just unbelievable!

nonelove4ever,

If you are comfortable doing so, can you provide more details about your experience? What were they trying to get you to admit to, and how did they misuse your statements?

Most of us tend to give the benefit of the doubt to law enforcement, and we would like to think that it is rare for innocent people to be prosecuted. But perhaps your experience shows otherwise.

Hey Just a Dad...

thanks for standing by those folks... they really nead help... and if the allegations are true... that doesn't mean that they did anything wrong and they should hold their heads high...

Their kids I'm sure are just in shock... and I hope they have been able to cope.. especially with some help from folks like you...

I don't know them... but if I did.. I would help them anyway I can...

again thanks for being there for them...

I imagine this family is in a world of pain right now and I'm glad they've got a friend like you supporting them. That support goes a long, long way - even though it can't erase what is happening to them - it means alot.

Whatever the truth is, I will say a prayer that this family finds justice and heals, Godspeed.

What does this mean? If the allegations are true, doesn't that mean the dad is guilty of multiple counts of sexual molestation of young girls? In fact, didn't the news accounts report that he had confessed?

My full sympathies are toward the mom and the children involved. I don't know the family well, but from what I've seen and heard, the mom is carrying on with dignity and grace.

I believe he meant "and if the allegations are true... that doesn't mean that they did anything wrong and they should hold their heads high..." that the rest of the family didn't do anything wrong.

That's also how I took it.

It looks like a man named Richard Alvin Priest, 47, of Folsom, was taken into custody for Child Molestation. He is a Sacramento International Airport firefighter that was arrested on suspicion of multiple child sexual molestation acts, according to a Folsom Police Department. I think thar article said four people have came foward indicating that they were victims, but it may now be as high as six.

This is gross and apalling. angry.gif I feel bad for the victims of this disgusting man.

I need to find this man. Can anyone give me any information on where this man is being held? To as not to embarrass the family I would appreciate someone to secretly reply to me. Please

I suspect you already know this, but according to the Megan's law web site, he is incarcerated, but it does not say where.

I tried it and It has no record. Any other suggestions? I'll accept any. Thank you so much for helping me. I don't feel comfortable asking my family.
