It was a 1972 Jerry Lewis film, his first attempt at drama, called "The Day the Clown Cried". In it Lewis (who also directed and financed it) plays a German clown named Helmut Doork who is sent to Auschwitz and entertains children as they are sent to gas chambers.

Thanks! I've heard Howard Stern talk about this movie before, but I've never caught the name. I've got to check it out.

How about Eraserhead (I think that is what is was called -- with John Tuturro); and then there was Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (great book, stinky movie). I see Dumb and Dumber made the list several times and I concur with that. The second and third iterations of the Highlander series were awful; the first was excellent -- seems to be a common theme with sequels. A lot of people thought Waterworld was bad, but I liked it. Showgirls was pretty awful -- lots of skin but really bad acting. Here is a great site with LOTS of bad movies listed! http://www.badmovies.org/movies/
