Because speech is a protected right, no matter how uninformed or ridiculous (although as a private site there are some rules here) 2Aces has pushed the line many times on the other side as well as many other members over the years. If you don't like it, you can intellectually self isolate by blocking any poster that doesn't adhere to your worldview. Seems petty and promotes your ideological bubble, which is exactly the problem with many lefties. The only people I block are those that are rude/mean or consistently post vile material. Frankly, the tenor of these boards has gotten much worse (and it was always contentious) since
2A became the most prolific poster. Notice that there are only 4 or 5 regular posters? Most people really don't like the way people behave here. There used to be many more. There are only a few who post here regularly that I would like as a guest in my home based on their behavior here...and we are all guests here.

I still read posts by people that I don't agree with. just like I read Wapo, NYT, the Atlantic and other liberal rags. Doesn't mean I agree with them. Hardly just accepting my own "worldview."
Your posts may be "factual," but your tenor has been abrasive which I feel hurts your position as it drives people away rather than convince them of your facts.

Joe, I understand your point. But we are at a point in America where if we don't fight back with the same tenor that they dish out every day, then we get run over. That's why Trump won big. He was willing to take on the thugs on the left, and it's why your side never wins. You people are proud to profess your libertarianism, but when push comes to shove, you people always wimp out.
Always post factual information??? Dont call breitbart factual, and chump didnt win by a lot. He did lose the popular vote, or did you forget that? But thats fake news, right??

I disagree. I feel the "right" wins the arguments on merit. No need to be abrasive and bitter. Leave that as the left's calling card.

Can anyone on the right explain this?
What good can come of this? (Nope, didn't think so!)
Trump removes internal watchdog tasked with overseeing coronavirus relief funds
https://www.cbsnews....fine-cares-act/
On Monday, the president removed Glenn Fine from his position as the acting inspector general at the Pentagon, effectively ousting him from his role as head of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PARC). The panel is tasked with overseeing the implementation of the relief bill, known as the CARES Act.
To me, it looks like tRUmp is trying to steal about $1 Trillion for himself, ha, ha!

I hear you Joe but "being nice", cooperative, willing to compromise, has gotten us nowhere. The left and their MSM messaging/propaganda team have taken advantage of us for 30 years. We are always the ones who give in and compromise on our agenda, to make nice. If we don't meet them half way we are called "mean spirited", "nasty", "racist". And they never meet us half way, it is always their way, just like a spoiled child. The democrats are kinda like Lucy on Peanuts... Can't be trusted to play fair and nice.....

Smart words, Chris. Joe is odd sometimes. Mr. Average would rather lose with niceness, class, and dignity (McCain, Romney) than win with brutal honesty and toughness (Trump). Thankfully, people like Mr. Average are now irrelevant... and will be for years to come!!

And yet, I cannot recall either of you saying anything nice about anyone across the aisle. Just an observation...
And I thought McCain and Romney were horrible candidates...
And I generally don't have to be an arse to get my point across. Doesn't make me soft, makes me mature.

I appreciated Obama's health care plans because they allowed children up to 26 to be covered. I also liked the scale of the available plans to allow options to cover most people.
Easy...no problem... give credit where credit is due.
Vinny, on the other hand, has been unable to come up with ONE decent thing to say about Trump no matter how many times I've given him the opportunity..
He is simply so filled with hatred that he is absolutely blinded to any consolation to the other side.

You should pull your head out. I complimented Tulsi for being the adult in the room. Complimented Bernie for being honest about his intentions. Complimented Gavin for giving Trump some credit re: handling the virus. Etc, etc. You should do some homework before you display your ignorance.
