Now he's pushing for war with Iran!               :old:         :shoot:
What guy!    :newyear:

Yet another $ TRILLION for US Taxpayers.

A storm is brewing between Trump, Mike Pompeo, and Iran

https://www.washingt...pompeo-and-iran

There's no question that the U.S. holds more of the cards here, but if he is serious about avoiding unnecessary wars, President Trump should consider his position carefully. After all, what happens if the Rouhani-bloc now collapses and the hardliners seize all elements of national power?

That increasingly likely possibility would require the U.S. to employ the immediate use of force

These issues are way over Trumps head, far beyond his knowledge,   :loco:

and dangerous for American. Yes, Trump is actually a

threat to our National Security.

The only reason Hilary didn't kick Bill out after his sexual affair, that led to his impeachment, is the hope she would become president one day.

Now that her dream looks like it won't come true, she's lost her mind and lives on tranquilizers and booze.

Pisses off Fox News!

What a "Success!"     :loco:  :newyear:        Ha, ha!   :joker:       Bye-Bye MAGA!  :wave2:

Trump's trade war is economic suicide

http://www.foxnews.c...ic-suicide.html

But even cars produced domestically will rise in price thanks to the president's economically illiterate trade interventions. As raw materials such as steel and aluminum rise in price, the cost of manufacturing each vehicle will rise. Manufacturers will pass those higher costs on to consumers.

Even beer and soda manufacturers are fretting about higher aluminum costs!

The energy sector will also take a hit. Because American steel companies don't produce the specialty pipes needed for many pipelines, new infrastructure projects will cost a whole lot more -- or be cancelled entirely.

Not to worry: Some moron right here will label the whole thing "FAKE NEWS."

Oh, wait, that's Fox News.  My bad!  :juggle:

GOP eating their own!

Key Republicans turn on The Turnip Trump.

Ohh! That's gonna leave a mark!

Key GOP senators rip Trump's farm bailout:
'America’s farmers don’t want to be paid to lose'

https://www.cnbc.com...rm-bailout.html

  • Republican senators condemned the Trump administration's recently announced plans to bail out U.S. farmers hit by crippling tariffs on their goods.
  • “This trade war is cutting the legs out from under farmers and the White House’s ‘plan’ is to spend $12 billion on gold crutches," said Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse.
  • Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker called on the Trump administration to "reverse course and end this incoherent" tariff and said the administration was "offering welfare to farmers to solve a problem they themselves created."

Uncle Vinny, how about no tariffs at all?

The US doesn't want tariffs and never did.

Just be honest and answer one question.....Shouldn't 'Free Trade' be free?

If you refuse to answer this simple question, it's clear you only want to bash Trump and stir up trouble here.

Now he's pushing for war with Iran!
What guy!

Since 1979, and Carter (you remember 18% interest rates don't you?)  Iran has deserved a very large American boot planted firmly, distinctly, and deciselvy up their behind.  We owe them that much, and much more....!   Turds of the Earth they are......   And for over 2000 years, just ask any real Greek warrior left on this Earth.   What we really need to do is support the Iranian people and their uprising.........!    Sadly, the wet nosed, wet behind the ears POTUS Obama left them to swing in the wind when they so protested.   Distinctly "un american" what Obama did, left them hung out to dry..........    Chris

Here is a link for you on the left to ignore and not comment on:   https://www.nytimes....ast/23neda.html

TEHRAN — It was hot in the car, so the young woman and her singing instructor got out for a breath of fresh air on a quiet side street not far from the antigovernment protests they had ventured out to attend. A gunshot rang out, and the woman, Neda Agha-Soltan, fell to the ground. “It burned me,” she said before she died.

The bloody video of her death on Saturday, circulated in Iran and around the world, has made Ms. Agha-Soltan, a 26-year-old who relatives said was not political, an instant symbol of the antigovernment movement.

Her death is stirring wide outrage in a society that is infused with the culture of martyrdom — although the word itself has become discredited because the government has pointed to the martyrs’ deaths of Iranian soldiers in the Iran-Iraq war to justify repressive measures.

Ms. Agha-Soltan’s fate resonates particularly with women, who have been at the vanguard of many of the protests throughout Iran.

Pffft! More phishing!

If anyone is really interested, check out Forbes Magazine article:

https://www.forbes.c...s/#49e9091e7329

(Imports - Exports) ≡ (Private Investment - Private Savings) + (Government Spending - Taxes)

Given this identity, which must hold, the trade deficit is equal to the excess of private sector investment over savings, plus the excess of government spending over tax revenue. So the counterpart of the trade deficit is the sum of the private sector deficit and the government deficit (federal + state and local). Therefore, the U.S. trade deficit is just the mirror image of what is happening in the U.S. domestic economy. If expenditures in the U.S. exceed the incomes produced in the U.S., which they do, the excess expenditures will be met by an excess of imports over exports (read: a trade deficit). The data I have reported in my previous Forbes columns support this important trade identity.

Alas, I have seen this horror show before, when I was a Senior Economist on President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers. Reagan’s rhetoric on free trade was flawless — a free trader to the core. However, the reality was quite different. Longtime colleague and close friend Bill Niskanen, who was a member of Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers, summarized it all in his definitive book: Reaganomics: An Insider's Account of the Policies and the People (Oxford University Press, 1988):

Today, with a protectionist president who is surrounded by a trade-illiterate cabinet, we can anticipate stormy seas ahead.

Hope we make it out "intact."

UncleDickie, your opinions on financial and economic issues in America are irrelevant because you were gutless and never criticized Obama when he was doubling the national debt and screwing up the healthcare system. You are not credible, and everyone here knows it. You are a mindless propaganda machine bereft of truthfulness, relying heavily on the MSM for your "facts".  But I do appreciate it when you make ignorant comments that can be turned around on you so easily!  :cheer:
