Yeah well I would think so...but having any amount in alcohol in your system can get you arrested for drunk in public...In her situation I probably would not have called either...being arrested for DIP's are not fun!! Therefore that is why she did not call the police!!! P.S. Please do not insinuate that my sister is lying or even slightly skewing what occured that evening...She is not and would hold such a huge stance on the situation nearly 2 years later... we have over 8 people who can attest to what occured that evening....Why would she lie and what would be gained from bad mouthing an establishment when she was at fault...I know that doesn't make sense to me either!!!!

Bouncers are meat heads!!!! I have had one reach in my top and grab my chest before...(NOT AT FLB)...I have also had other ones say some really inappropriate things to me and my friends in exchange for entrance...So just because you may be a bit out of touch with what occurs in local clubs and bars doesn't mean things like this do not occur!!!

To put this very mildly: It doesn't sound 100% true that a bouncer just walked away from his job at one location and randomly grabbed and threw someone who was sitting inside a car at another location to the ground while 8 others looked on, did nothing and reported it to no one when it was over.
Regardless, it can't be proven 2 years later by a third party's heresay statements.

Don't take it personally....but the mom's including myself have had issues with the bday parties...the employees won't help set up the table or clean it....the pizza is cold, the bowling lanes aren't ready, the tables weren't even set up on 2 bday parties we attended, the old man that fixes the lanes curses at the other employees...etc..now, bowling is fun, but not the atmosphere we experienced....IT has nothing to do with an old building, but when things aren't kept tidy and the bday parties aren't organized well, in my opinion things need to change...I made a complaint last year when I had a party and so did my friends....Maybe your employees never told you or you are an absentee owner...I have no idea...Good luck and hopefully you will have a successful remodel with better customer service in place...

WOW .... I have had my sons birthday there 3 years in a row and have not had that experience... Been there to the club/casino thing and also had a blast... hhmmm maybe you just had a bad experience then told a friend who told another friend who told another friend and now all your friends don't like it...

Like I said before...I think this was the reason he walked over there...I do not know if he was trying to talk to them...I guess I'll ask my sister...and I can say my sister is a prude with men and was not the nicest if he was hitting on her I am sure...but nevertheless he should not have touched her...pour out the alcohol but do not place you hands on someone who weighs less than half your body weight...

Frankly I could careless if none of you believe it...it occured..my sister will not even go there to bowl and I have asked her numerous times since this incident....She would rather go to Fireside lanes...eeewhhh...yuck....if she was at fault she would have admitted it...she was not so...she will probably never go to FLB again...

Be sure to let everyone know when the remodel is COMPLETED. When I know it's newly spiffed up, I might try and visit again. As it is now, it is NOT the place I want to go. When I was in High School, my friends and I would like to go bowling, but we tried FLB once, and decided we'd never go back there. It was not a comfortable place to be. We took our business well out of Folsom for our bowling excursions...to Rocklin Bowl and Country Club Lanes.

Now I have no desire to go there because every time I hear people talk about going, they only talk about the booze and gambling...it has nothing to do with bowling anymore. What are the people in Folsom who don't live to drink and get drunk supposed to do? Everything is turning into bars in Folsom....take all of Sutter Street for an example. What used to be Family Friendly "Old Folsom" has become anything but family friendly. I may not have a family of my own yet, but I still want that atmosphere. I hope that the remodel will return to that, otherwise I'll continue to keep away.

Are you serious? (not being sarcastic) I must be out of it, because I don't know of many bars. I know Sutter Street has a bunch, but other than that, where else is there? Maybe I'm just living in my little cocoon and don't get out much!

I guess I am counting the bars in restaurants too. Every Friday night everyone at work wants to go to the bar. So they usually end up at Tahoe Joes, Hacienda, BJ's or some place like that.

Well let's see, I did a Google maps search on "Bars" in Folsom. The first thing to come up was... FLB! So you know of that one, and all the Sutter Street ones: Folsom Hotel, Sutter Club, Yaegers, Scarlet's, and I'm sure I'm missing something else...oh, Powerhouse. That right there is 5 within what? 2 Blocks? Plus the wine shop and brewing shop there. What's left for families? Ms. Teaz? ha! Then there's City Slickers on Natoma, Streets of London, and FLB. And it seems MOST restaurants focus on their bars...Bailies, Mexquite, The Ravine, BJ's (granted, it is a brewery). .............

Now, I'm not saying I don't go to those restaurants. I just think it's sad that the places I loved to go as a kid, like Sutter Street, have turned into something I don't have a reason to go to anymore, and certainly wouldn't take my (future) kids to.

You and Cinderella are either incredibly naive or quite prudish. Folsom has nothing on many, MANY, MANY towns when it comes to alcohol.

Sorry, Stacycam, if that sounded entirely rude. I truly didn't mean for it it to be.

But I do mean to have frustration at it all...because that is truly genuine.

I honestly don't know if it's even there anymore. That was 5+ years ago now. But it was fun...they did the blackout bowling...and they didn't make you rent shoes! You could bowl in your socks.
