Ignorance is like bad breath you usually don't know you have it but everyone else does.

Yeeeah...coming from a guy who thinks people are incapable of cooking outside of their demographic.
I know where he gets his food from - I'd eat what he makes.
I'd be really interested to hear what places you find superior to Aloha. Come on now, lets hear em!

I think you're wasting your breath. This is the guy who ranked the canned Italian places over those who make their own food. Someone is so insistent on remaining "no one" and I think we should all accomodate him. Just my two cents.
And this is my RSVP for Jesse for tomorrow. He'll be there!
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Spicy, you stated that the owner was rude, and you were asked to give specifics as to what happened. I've seen three posts by you since that question -- and while the quotes you're posting are interesting, you haven't yet answered the question. I, too, am curious as to what happened that so turned you against the restaurant. Care to share?

If I do share, then i can not remain anonymous anymore. Besides, I don't usually argue/debate.
Aloha is NOT my type of Sushi Restaurant that I would go on a regular basis. One time is PLENTY.
Low Grade Sushi & the owner was RUDE/IGNORANT.
I don't like the food at Mama Ann's nor GoodFellas. I do like Macaroni Grill & especially Il Fornaio.
I do think Mama Ann's has NO "service". NONE. George at GoodFellas is good people, but his food is not on my "Favorite List".
We all have our own preferences.
Lets move on.

understood, but you must realize that favoring frozen food commercial (costco) ingredients, versus fresh high quality ingredients, kinda puts your food rating skills on the low end.
no offense, just sayin'...

The Owner was at the Cash Register at the entrance, when I came in.
He greeted me with a smile and I told him that I had a ToGo order being prepped. He offered a table for me to wait at and apologized that it was not ready, even though I told him I was early (just called it in and arrived, after they noted it would take about 15mins for the meal + gyoza).
He was very friendly and so was the staff who kept apologizing, when I was the one EARLY.
The Ichiban roll was great, as was the Nigiri Hamachi and Yellow Tail.
I'd definately go back!!
