Nothing on Scopes, or Snopes, but I did find this:
"In-N-Out burgers were extraordinary. I was so bad, I sat in the restaurant, had my double cheeseburger then minutes later I drove back round and got the same thing again to take away."
--Gordon Ramsay
Apparently it was a Double-Double Animal Style! Go Gordon!

As for hot dogs, Fremont's Kasper Dogs were the best, Burgers was Bob's Giant Burger...oh and I'd love a Hana Japan, Nijo Castle, or Kyoto Palace (all teppan rooms).
I think the flame broiled burger place opening up in the Safeway shopping center is Buger Hut from Chico, very good stuff there, I'm looking forward to it.
Hmmm, anything else I'm missing? Oh yeah, Tapas, Sangria & Mojitos...oh my!

Your spelling, not mine!
So does that mean you get boogers with your burgers?

There was this place, Walter's, down in Claremont in SoCal that was run by some people from Afghanistan, and they made the most incredible soups! They also offered Afghan specialties which were also faboo, but I could live on their chicken vegetable soup, house salad and homemade bread alone. Their house dressing was made with yogurt, olive oil and herbs and my gosh it was to die for.
Simple, but so, so good. So many nights, when I don't want to cook, I'd love to go to such a place. For now, Fresh Choice is a reasonable facsimile, but I am not talking buffet. A place that does soup and salad with seasonable fresh ingredients would be so welcome! Yum!

Not on my diet, but YUMMY! I vote for the In N Out to come sooner!
Other than that, I feel like we have enough great places to keep me satisfied- BSB, Aloha Sushi, Ravine, and Hop Sing.
Well, I guess I would love a great Mexican place. I feel like ours are good, but I want great.
And IN N Out...did I say that yet???

I checked out the "hawaiian" place called Hawaiian BBQ in the Safeway shopping center in EDH
last weekend. Standing at the counter while I scanned the menu for a hawaiian entree. I even asked the young teenager, what is their specialty hawaiian dish. She said she likes the teriyaki chicken. LOL
Being from Hawai`i, I went in there specifically for something "Hawaiian." Unfortunately, all too many times, restaurants throw pineapple on a pizza or a sandwich and call it Hawaiian. I never saw anything on the menu, "Hawaiian" and left hugely disappointed.
There is a good place in Elk Grove that serves up the real deal, sometimes a bit too far and not
really convenient. So obviously, I would love to have a place serving authentic Hawaiian food nearby...but realistically understand, that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I concur.
Your other selections are my top 5, aswell. Except that I prefer T2 Yan over Hop Sing.
