I've had a good vegetable pattie in a bun before, however it is not a burger.

It is in England. smile.gif Also "grilled chicken burger"

Sacramento Brewing Company used to have a great burger. I really mean used to have. It's been years since I went back cause I'd never experienced such a screwed up order in my life since.

I do recommend we try them once again because personally they had the BEST garlic fries in this town. Fries with loads of garlic, blue cheese and chili oil. And I want some!

Heck, maybe they've figured out how to make a good burger again....

I can't speak to the burger at Folsom Bistro, but they were the best fries I have EVER had!

My issue with burgers is when they ruin them by cooking them too much. I like a nice fat, pink center.

I hate escherichia coli.

so does everyone else, and it is possible to grill a burger properly and eliminate that without over cooking it to a crisp while still maintaining it's juices - a juicy burger is much better tasting then an over cooked burnt burger

but alas I think its a California nanny law now that burgers have to be cooked to a certain temp before being served

I gotta look into this further to see if that's a fact or not...

found this rule for burger king....

Temperature at the time of completion of cooking process or when the food is otherwise removed from required temperature control (when removed from hot holding/when removed from refrigeration/or indicate using room temperature ingredients if assembling using room temperature ingredients): Fully cooked to at least 165°F from frozen, 1 hr. room temp. hold maximum, then reheat to at least 165°F for immediate service.

still researching....

Are you talking about Sac Brew Oasis? Their food went downhill FAST! I used to love that place sad.gif Sad to see some of your favorite dishes go south so badly. If that's where you mean, count me out for going back there.
