No, I was not talking about Thai Siam closing. My statement was about Granite Bay Thai Bistro, in my opinion a very good Thai restaurant... so rest assured that the Thai Siam is still open as far as I know...

I liked their food when Noei (sp?) was the owner/chef...she made great food (probably helped that my dad was friends w/ her husband and she'd make special dishes for us).

Well, we had better add The Sheepherder to the list..... they are now closed on weekends..... ???? this might set a record for the shortest opening of any restaurant.....

On weekends? That seems odd. Isn't that when most restaurants do most of their business?

Does anyone know if there is another restaurant going in where the Black Angus was?

It's not Folsom, but it's close. A Maad Tea Party in the Town Center is closing later this month. It is a unique, interesting place and will be missed.

Just saw a coupon for A Maad Tea Party. What's the deal? Still open or paid for the ad before they closed?

After receiving an e-mail from A Maad Tea Party saying they were closing after Mother's Day, I assumed they were closed. Then I got another one saying that things had improved, so they would be staying open through May and perhaps into the summer...I guess things have really improved because I just called and indeed they are still open - everyday 8AM - 3PM - closed Tuesdays.

This is in response to my post on June 27 th. at 6:18 P.M. I was given some misleading information from a person whom I have known for about 6 years. The Sheepherder Bar and Grill IS NOT CLOSED on weekends. Their hours on Saturday are from 4:00 P.M until closing and open for Sunday Brunch... The indivudal whom provided me with this Bogus information is now an EX employee. When I recieve some more accurate information, they are going to have a Tequila tasting and education class from a respected distiller complete with a live Agave plant... Stop by and give them a try... I went in yesterday to let the Management and staff that I was going to notify folks of this misleading information...

Another one bites the dust, Baja Fresh on Prairie City across from Intel and FHS. The sign in the window indicates an eviction.

I really hope this is just a fluke, but went to Strings tonight around 6:30 and their doors are closed and no one in sight! Should be open according to the hours, and no other signs visible.

End of April, but I hadn't seen it mentioned on any of the lists in this discussion. We pass by there daily and even shop at the Safeway but had not noticed it was closed until going there to get a burrito. Chicken kebabs next door were just fine.
