We went again the other day. It was good.

EAH - I love the potato salad from Costco. The only one I eat. Bel Air used to carry the same brand but not anymore. The only bad part is that it's so large, so the only way we buy it is if we are having a lot of people over.

why exactly is it unfair? I am sure they have come on to read the posts here. It's not such a big deal, they don't necessarily need my business, they seem to have plenty of people who love them.

like I said before, they put two of those toilet paper rolls up for complaints. in the restaurant and on their website that isn't exactly welcoming suggestions, so, in my opinion, I'll take them at their word and let them figure it out for themselves.

Again....wow

I agree. they're being humorous. I think perhaps written messages make what I'm trying to say a little more serious than it is. Like I said before, they're going to do fine, I like their food, I wish them success, I think they're a great addition to Folsom, I think they're definately on the right track, I am sure they already read what I wrote about the dressings on the sides (such a minor thing), and I don't think I need to go out of my way to contact them and let them know. relax, people! smile.gif

Brought a friend to Urban Dog today -- her first time there. She was duly impressed and I was thrilled to see them so busy.

I took another new friend to Urban Dog yesterday and they loved it.

I wonder if they have done anything to the lunch business at Gold Miner?

We had lunch at Gold Miner yesterday, and I have never seen it so empty, although it was early, and people trickled in as we were leaving. I hope it was just an off day, or too early.

We just went to Urban Dog for lunch. While picking up my order from the bar clumsy me spilled my french fries all over the floor (and on the guy sitting at the bar - sorry dude) and the waitress (owner?) was SO nice to me - she just won a customer for life!

That place rocks, the first time my friends and I went there they gave us a free pitcher of beer....needless to say, they won a customer for life here too biggrin.gif .
Plus I really like their prices, they make going out for lunch more affordable and the best part is that the various combos are pretty good.

The last time I went my friend and I approached the waitress separately to compliment her on what a great job she was doing. She was the only staff member out front, taking orders, delivering orders to the tables, cleaning tables, getting refills, etc... and the place was packed. Service with a smile to boot.

Same here - she was wonderful despite the fact that it was packed and it was just her in front and the guy in the back. Is it a husband/wife team? They are really ahrd workers.

I like the vibe of the place and the toppings, and the fries are great. But every piece of sausage so far has been downright leathery. Do they just have some vast gas station in the back and am I the victim of showing up in the evening when the sausages have rolled for miles?

I usually get the dogs but I had a sausage the other day and it was awesome!! Try again at lunch.
To respond to the other question about owners. I believe its a husband and wife and another guy. They also own Sweetwater in Sac and used to work at Cliff House. I think...

I agree, the waitress/owner?? was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Would that all service was as good in our town.
