Like a good King book (i.e. The Stand), it would appear that they are putting all the puzzle pieces on the table in front of you.....where, later, they will put the all together to show the whole picture and fill in any gaps.

This is what it "appears" to be.... I agree with others that these pieces had better all fit together somehow and not leave any loose ends untied.

Well, [Claire's] back now so nevermind.
She's back now? Damn ABC. I recorded this show until 9:01, giving them one entire minute past 9:00, and I still didn't get the ending.

Could someone please fill me in on what happened after Sayid suggested that maybe the rock in Claire's dream was the triangle on the map? That's the last thing on the tape. And just how much longer does it go on after that?

Why the heck can't they end the show by 9:00 like it's scheduled? madsmiley.png

My onscreen guide said the show runs 1:05. Anyway, the next thing we see is Boone and Locke doing whatever it is two men do alone in the jungle. Then a noise is heard and a beatup Claire emerges from the bushes. Then a preview for a repeat episode. Then Alias came on. Then I started playing video games. Then I went to bed.

Hmmm. Maybe I'm glad I missed the ending after all. tongue.gif

Thanks! (1:05? Good grief.)

Boone is starting to act kind of weird now that Locke has ordained him with head gel hallucinogens. He follows Locke around like a lost puppy dog and does whatever he says.

I missed the end too. I have heard that networks are deliberately starting or ending late to hurt the Tivo customers, it apparently is killing their advertising.

It's just getting good. The comic book & the polar bear are related. Something about the island (maybe the kid) is turning people's thoughts in to realities. Locke walking, Jack's Dad, Kate & the box, Charlie and the guitar.

I agree.....I never really noticed all the commercials until now....

Anybody else think the kid is now the key to this whole thing?...something about what his stepfather said and that comic book with the mean polar bear and island in the middle of the ocean....can't just be coincidence can it???

I thought the polar bear had been there before the kid ever saw that comic book - no?

this was the second polar bear, the first one was killed. However that comic book certainly was around somewhere before as well. May not be the kid, but I do think it has something to do with people's imaginations. There has to be a link to that comic book, why else would they show that polar bear so prominently?

Apparently last night was a repeat, but one that I haven't seen. Where did Ethan come from??? Just when you think you have the show figured out, they shift the focus onto something/one else

Where did Ethan come from? That's part of the mystery. If they knew that, they would have gone and found Claire sooner.

I think Locke rubbed the hallucinogens on all of their heads while they were on the plane, and this whole crash thing is one, big, common dream.

Epic episode tonight!!! Finally we get an episode that doesn't end like a cliffhanger. Ethan got what was coming to him. I was happy to see Charlie do it too.

Is it me or does everyone on the island have some dark evil secret that makes us dislike them all? Can't they have someone like Hurley who was just on vacation in Australia or something?

Decent episode last night.

It's pretty pathetic how wussy-whipped Charlie is on Claire (kinda annoying)
Now with Ethen gone, nobody knows where he came from or if there are more on the island.

I agree, everyone has something going on. I used to hate Locke, now he's one of my favorite characters (aside from Kate and Shannon wub.gif)
