Well GoG, baiting us with a "bazooka" is condescending in itself.  Come on, you are treating us like fools and halfwits...  And baiting us to do all that "math" on your selected data points on the other question regarding global warming is just silly.  The math has been done already by people smarter than  you and I.   Done all the math I want to do way back in college some 30+ years ago......  The math I do at work every day is fine for me at this stage in my life, titers, grams per liter, Moles, Millimoles, bars, PSIg, microns, volumes of cylinders, Kilograms, grams, micrograms, microliters, levels of Glucose, Lactose, PCO2, PO2, NH4, pH, Na, etc........   Do it all day, everyday at work brother....  And we are not pro gun, we are pro Constitution, the gun part just happens to be a part of it.  The second amendment, defender of the rest.  Chris

Go back and review your comments. You started the backhand insults. You're the one who can't have reasonable discourse. I'm just saying it's a waste of time debating with you.

Defense of liberty and independence are important concepts for some of us. You become insulting when you trivialize these cornerstones of life and freedom with the typical trite, idiotic comments.

When you're ready to have a mature discussion, let us know. Until then, good luck to you.

Ghost, well done...!   Great article.  My most heated arguments with folks at work on this have been about guns.  The ones with the strongest anti gun opinions were always the ones who never held a gun, never shot one, never hunted, never were taught gun safety, or never were in the military.  Such strong opinions from them but yet no real life experience.....? They are always so sure of themselves and their opinions.   I wonder if I proposed to them that government should take their cell phone from them for the greater good, their safety, and proposed jail time and that they would be a felon if they did not turn it in within a certain period of time...?   Of course we would compensate them at $5 a phone to make them whole again........   I wonder if that would make them think...?   I think not.  Chris

Hmmm, I thought GOG was being fairly reasonable. I brought up the bazooka. I definitely agree it is the current culture that surrounds guns that is the problem. At least for a segment of the population that never learned about responsibility.

Ahh, the 2nd Amendment...one of my favorite Amendments...allowing us to protect ourselves and remove trash from society, one scumbag at a time. Does that *offend* you? If so, sorry...too bad, but you gotta love this story below:

And look to 2019...   Sir Gavin want's to strip us of any semi auto arm.....?  What an idiot...!  Anybody who would cheat on Kimberly Guilfoyle and lose her is not a very smart man.  She is an awesome lawyer, super smart, speaks her mind, a great prosecutor, and a very common sense person......... !  Gavin, not a smart man, not a smart man at all........   Just another narcissistic CA carpetbagger democrat awaiting a higher office in DC, bouncing to another seat,  elected by low intelligence, hi public funds receiving, dependent on government handouts, democrat for life, voters..........    Chris

Oh, and P.S.   Did I mention he cheated on Kimberly with his best friends wife.......?    Ever see that on the news, our "esteemed CA Lt. Governor of high morals and standards.........?    Nope, you did not.   I think he prays every night before he goes to bed that Jerry has a coronary in his sleep..........  So he can hit the springboard into national politics,   Governor of CA.........!

Here's another great story below. A man in Seattle with a concealed carry permit (CCP) pulls his gun, blows-away and kills an idiot who was swinging a hatchet at people at a 7-11 store, probably saving lives.

Just a beautiful, heart-warming story.

God Bless the 2nd Amendment, and God Bless that guy for *ending the threat...permanently*!! He's a true hero...and the media's worst nightmare.

Oh, and speaking of guns, if anyone has any doubts about whether or not radical leftists are doing serious, intentional damage to this state/country, just try to order an airsoft BB pistol (shoots plastic BB's) on Amazon. You will get a message that says you can't receive it at a Calif address. No, I am not kidding. I guess you can walk into a Walmart and buy one, but apparently Amazon has bowed to the pressure of the *lunatic Calif Nazi-leftists*.

Are some of you starting to *get the picture*?? And if they're doing it to BB guns, then you KNOW that these pathetic malcontents are trying to do it to the 2nd Amendment, and God-knows-what-else. The democrat mantra: "we know what's best for you and we WILL dictate to society what we will allow, and if we have to protest and get violent, then we will". Ahh, what maturity!!

As Trump would say, "what a bunch of losers" !!
