Oh, how tolerant.......!   Such a dig on the religious folks, the Libertarians, the non conformists who have decided that "government" education is not really what they want for their kids.  Their free choice in my opinion...!    Tolerance of others and their choices there Tio Vinny...?  I think not on your part...   You don't like folks home schooling their child but you are totally ok with them aborting that said child.....?  Is home schooling not as worthy of a "choice" as an abortion...?   In one of those a child dies, in the other they live and get an education, are loved and cherished, nurtured, allowed to love and fail at things, maybe even a Harvard scholarship they earn....?  Your call...?  Do you feel a bit silly here....?   If not, you should.   Your "CHOICE" though, all for that as a Libertarian....!  Other than the killing of Innocents, not so cool with that but you do what you think is right, knock yourselves out, sadly............!   Chris

Just read a book, "Educated" by Tara Westover.

5 kids home schooled in Idaho (?). Those who escaped earned PhDs.
Those who stayed were mired in ignorance.
Jobs as welders and junk-yard operators.

Best selling book.

You realize that welders make six figure incomes right? As do junkyard operators. Man, the arrogance of the "educated" left is something to see...  Let me think about how many times I've desperately needed a plumber (who also makes a six figure income)  vs how many times I've desperately needed a phd...
