Is T2 Yan still open here in Folsom?

Yes. At least it was on Sunday when we had dinner there.

How is it compared to China House?

I just got kung pao chicken to go, and when I got home I had the entree, no rice, and a huge bowl of wonton soup. What did I do wrong? The KPC is pretty good, anyhow.

What kind of Chinese restaurant makes you order rice?

one that offers several kinds of rice as a side dish

you shoulda ordered a combo dinner - that would have come with rice, egg roll and chow mein, all for probably the same price as the one entree you ordered...

ordering just kung pao chicken will only get you... kung pao chicken

but hey you did get some free soup with it

Is China House in Folsom? I read over and over stevethedad talking about the salt and pepper fish. I finally made it in a while back and tried it but I'm not as big a fan of it. I know everyone has their opinions or favorites but I still prefer Rice Express.

All of 'em. You get rice if you order it, or if you order a rice plate. When ordering to go, I rarely order rice. I'll either do without it, or make my own brown rice at home.

Salt and pepper fish reminds me of southern fried catfish, which has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.

Never tried rice express. Just something about the name. It sounds like a fast food joint where rice is the specialty.

We tried T2 Yan takeout tonight. We just got the veggies fried rice and noodles since we had chicken already at home. It was very yummy and so far the best chinese we have tried around town.
