davburr,
Speaking of "in the know"
Controversy...but its just ole me.

Best place to invest/buy: Pachanga
Best city to live in the Sacramento Region: Folsom
Best Café: Karen's Bakery
Best place for Wi-Fi hotspot: It's A Grind (Bel Air center)
Best Breads: Great Harvest Bread Co (near Trader Joes)
Best Mexican Food: La Fiesta Taqueria
Best Chinese: Fat's
Best Phò: Phò Bac Hoa Viet
Best Thai: Amarin Thai
Best French: Bidwell Street Bistro
Best Indian: NONE (will go out of town, Shailmar on Jones St., SF)
Best Sushi: NONE (will go out of town, Matsuhisa aka Nobu)
Best Steak: NONE (will go to Sac, Outback, Ruth's Chris or Morton's)
Best Italian: NONE (will go to Roseville, Il Fornaio)
Best Grocery Store: Trader Joes
Best Gym: California Family Fitness
Really Cool Guy: Sean Smith, Gold Rush Magazine
Best TV Anchor: Chris Burrous
Sexiest Woman Alive: Angelina Jolene
Best Presidential Candidate: Hillary Rodham Clinton
Best place for complainers: MyFolsom.com

Bon Appetit!

Hmm...I agree on a lot of your 'bests', with the following exceptions:

Best Sushi: Have to go with Mikuni. Sure it's trendy, but since it's so popular, the turnover means the fish is always fresh.

Best TV Anchor: Cristina Mendonsa

Sexiest Woman Alive: Too tough to call. Hard to find one that has it all, face, body, brains, class, maturity and sense of humor. I think I'd have to go with Jessica Biel or Selma Hayek.

Because they still need employees now so they can pay the bills while they wait for a buyer. If they find a buyer, the employees will still have a job. Otherwise, their bills will probably catch up to them.

Let's not forget that a business for sale does not necessarily mean that they are failing nor does it mean that they will go out of business. The owners may just want to make a change, just like you would go out and find a new job. They may also be doing really well and want to "sell high" while they can.

I wonder what restaurant this is. Is it the Cliff House? But it says it's clean... "Just Listed! This Absolutely Gorgeous Restaurant Is To Die For! You’ve Heard It Said Before, “Location, Location, Location” And This One Has It All. This Restaurant Is Perfect For Parties, Banquets, Stunning With Beautifully Landscaped Patio Areas In The Front And Back. There Is Seating Inside For 70, The Back Patio Has Seating For 100+, And Front Patio Has Seating For 35+ People. This Business Is Very Profitable And Is As Clean And Professionally Run As We’ve Seen In A Long Time. Very Often Reserved For Weddings, Birthday Parties And Intell Meetings. The Lease Is Assumable And Is At The Market Rate Of Comparable Other Restaurants In The Area. The Business Has A Beer And Wine License.

Reason For Sale: Business Is Family Run And Family Members Are Going In Different Life Directions.

Sale Price: 179,000 Or Best Offer"

Could this maybe be Zinfandel Grille? Seems awfully cheap, though, and I don't think their back patio seating is that large.
