I haven't read the replies here in a while, so I'll just report and sorry for any repeated info. Greg and I went on Saturday night. They apparently have more seafood on Friday and Saturday, so it costs a couple dollars more than it would during the week. The $13.99 price doesn't include drinks, so it ended up costing $32 for the two of us. For the price, we'd rather go to a sit-down Chinese restaurant.
The food was really not bad for a buffet. Most of it was pretty fresh, because the place was PACKED so they were moving a lot of food through. The sushi seemed to sit there for a while, and since it was all raw or crab (I'm allergic to crab), I didn't have any. Just to clarify: I love raw sushi, but I won't eat it off a buffet. ew.
Greg had Mongolian BBQ, which was pretty good, but there are better Mongolian BBQ choices in town and in EDH so it's not worth it for that alone. He also got steak, which was horrible. However, the other lines were quite good. There was dim sum, which I rarely get to eat, and all kinds of other stuff. The steamed "fish," presented on the bone, was quite good (don't know what kind it was), but the steamed salmon was almost completely devoid of flavor. I had the biggest oyster I've ever seen--cooked, but I'm not sure how, and quite tasty. I also liked the mussels with white stuff and cheese.
If the price were lower we'd probably eat there again, but at the current price it's not worth it so we probably won't bother again. However, we were glad we tried it.
