well i cant answer for them. they clearly dont like that i let the kids out to play with out me being out there 2. thats their issue not mine its their take on it there are plenty more people that dont have a problem with me

like i said b4 you cant make everybody happy. one is mad because i have never talked to her. well meeting her woulid not make her any more safe then if i did not meet her. i did know that the very over protective parents that live next door let their child over there. and as a matter of fact i was going to go over there to talk to her and talked about that with my younger daughter. But there is no longer a need for that because my daughter will no longer be going over there. I dont need my daughter going over to sombodys house who has no issue running her mouth on the internet. If she had a issue with me she should have came to me. But that clearly did not do that. so my child being over there will no longer be an issue. No matter what you do there will be people to say bad things. Im sure you are a nice person and im willing to bet that there is sombody out there who will have somthing bad to say about you. we are not all perfect. And maybe instead of tearing people down why not go and talk see if there is a problem and offer to help if there is a true problem Or hay you can always get on the internet and run your mouth clearly the better choice for some people.

Darth, you're coming down pretty hard on this mom. At least she was at home to know what her child was doing, the child did tell her about the situation. And she did report it.

Consider the mom on the news tonight who's little 5-year-old girl is missing, Nevaeh Buchanan in Michigan. The mom was in "friendship" with a registered sex offender who she considered a "father figure" to her daughter. He was one of two sex offenders she was "friends" with. She said, "Not all sex offenders are repeat offenders." This little girl is now missing...nothing left but her scooter.

...or closer to home this woman Stacy Murray (Fusion Spa) who was in the forum months back. Stacy Murray or Stacy Basden Murray was/is living with a famous local sex offender Robert Beckinger with her daughter. Apparently she thought it was okay that he was a sex offender too. Murray lost custody of her youngest child so the system is working. As Nancy Grace put it tonight a mother almost has to be in hot pants, shooting up on the steps of the courthouse to loose custody of a child. The bar is set pretty low.

These two women are truly putting their children directly in the path of the sex offender.

Unless the mom you are bantering with in Folsom is friends with the sex offender perhaps you can give her a break. 40 years ago none of this would have been talked about. Either way you look at this Darth, she did report it. One less sex offender is on the street right now. And maybe all of us parents will hold our kids a little closer. I vaguely remember the story about Mr. Beckinger. Why is he not on the Megan's Law site? If this guy that IM'd the little girl also had a previous history why was he not registered on the site?

Does anyone know if being listed on the site means these people are not to be in contact with small children or have them in their home or are there different restrictions depending upon their convictions?

I can't answer that--my instinct would be to say--the courts would prolly be uncomfortable taking a child away from a parent--if the parent is in good standing in regards to probation, CPS and counseling....etc.
