Look a little closer.

This coupon voucher must be registered 45 days from receipt, within 10 days of a full moon falling on the 10th even day of the month of your birth, and not less than 2 days after Paula walks away from American Idol but not more than 3 afternoons after Pres. Clinton returns home from North Korea.

Good luck.......I registered mine last week and am sending in my first montly voucher with receipts on Monday. Time will tell.

Good luck, lets see the dream comes true : rolleyes.gif :

Looks like the rules have changed already. When I first started checking their website it was a $9.95 registration fee which was to be reimbursed with the first gift card. Now it's refundable with the last voucher received:

http://www.customerl...Fuel_Cert_A.pdf

Just open the pdf file and read all the fine print (actually I had to zoom in at 200%). Notice also the Visa gift cards being sent out with this promotion have a $5.00 monthly maintenance fee that will be charged on them after 90 days. Certainly made up a whole new set of rules with this new "free" gas/grocery program!

Updated info: After further checking:

http://www.visaincen.../products2.html

I just noticed that there are numerous kinds of certificates. Some have the $9.95 refunded early, some at the end, and some have no fee up front. So I guess it would depend on what kind of certificate your particular retailer bought. We didn't accept any so I don't know what Bassett is sending to their customers.

Stardate: August 9, 2009

I've just mailed in my 1st rebate certificate with receipt. As directed, I placed the certificate face up, pointing south, towards the back end of the envelope and triple folded the receipt and placed it directly on top and centered on the redemption certificate. The clock is ticking. I'll report my findings when I get my Visa Card for 35.00 in 4-5 weeks.

P.S. I see they've also already received/cashed my check for 9.95 so they're at least fast on the receiving end of money.

So rda ... did you happen to notice if there was the "do-over" clause when you registered? That would be the clause that says if you miss sending in receipts for two months in a row you will be disqualified from the program.

I'm sure this new company will be very speedy in the beginning when collecting the money! The question is where will they be two years from now. We go to court on Wednesday and I'll post the results here. I don't know if we'll get an immediate ruling but I certainly hope so!

I don't intend to miss any months in a row, much less 2. It seems like pretty easy money to me. Buy stuff I'm already buying and spend 3 minutes and .52 cents for a stamp to send in stuff and I get 25.00 per month for a year? I'm just using a 300.00 coupon so I only have to get free money for a year.

Can you block out what you actually bought from the store? I know it's practically impossible to avoid data mining, but the idea that there are companies out there that are tracking what you buy creeps me out.

I didn't mean to imply that you might miss a month, rda. My point was at some websites advertising Claimyourvisacards.com certificates, under the redemption process rules and regulations, there is a "do-over" clause that disqualifies you if you miss two months. That was never part of the first or second bogus programs that we took part in.

I would say no. I was told they use the receipts to target ads to put in the envelope with the visa card. I assume this is the same. No biggie.

Bad news about court today ... it was continued. Due to some kind of screwup with the court Bassett was not served notice of the case. So the court date was reset for September 9 and the person I spoke to at the clerk's office said he would personally hand deliver the papers to Bassett himself tomorrow or Friday. I will call next week to make sure the papers got served though. Looks like I have another month to gather evidence!

rda - You said you sent in July's receipts. Are you supposed to go to a particular website to get your voucher to send in for August or did you get all your vouchers when you first registered. The reason I ask is that I've read some complaints at another forum about people not being able to access the website to print out their August vouchers and the phone number not working for Claimyourvisacards.com.

I have no reason to access the website. I printed all 12 of my coupons when I registered. I now am told that the 4-6 time frame is AFTER they scanned my receipts, so time will tell if it's legit or not. I sent mine in on Aug. 9 so now I guess I'm looking at the end of Sept. or later to get my first Visa card. I'll post results here when it happens.

rda=SacDJ I got a new PC and for some reason it wouldn't take my old name.

Okay thanks rda/SacDJ. And I'll post the results of whatever happens in court next week. After a year I'm tired of messing with this mess!

Believe it or not ... our case got postponed until October 9th! My wife went to court today, a representative from Bassett was there, and the judge did not have time to hear our case. Evidently they plan their calendar around people settling out of court and if you actually show up and want to proceed there's not enough time set aside. That's our speedy court system in action. So ... back to waiting another month to see what will happen. Sorry I didn't have better news today! But we WILL prevail on October 9th!
