Is it just me, or does $16.00 for a meatloaf sandwich seem like a lot of money?

well, that's pretty awesome! here is their menu. nice to have a new venue that isn't all jazzed up!

The prices are pretty jazzed up, though! Yikes. Nice to have something different, but I don't see myself going there.

8.50 for a grilled bologna? I'll pass on the overpriced fare...

I thought Karen's Bakery fare is pretty steep but they seem to be doing okay in Folsom.

I had the meatloaf sandwich at the location in Vegas and they actually give you $16.00 worth of food so while it's expensive it was good and it was essentially 2 meals. Not sure if all locations serve the same portions but from what I gather the cowboy theme seemed to go hand in hand with large portions.

Good point. I have had $15 sandwiches at Karen's on a couple occasions, so there is obviously some sort of market for that type of thing.

Yes, but Karens makes an effort to locally source and use organic whenever possible. It is not mass marketed chain fare. I can get deep fried shrimp and meatloaf at much cheaper prices at other chains (Mimi's Cafe).

I go there for the delicious food, but a lot less often than I would like.

I never noticed any celebrities. I guess it helps to be a new folsomite...

Thank you eric, but I don't see anything here I'm interested in.

I've walked by & past Runway Boutique many times in EDH. It appears to be a trendy & expensive store...I'm sure some will love it.

Beauty by Thread...appears to be facial/neck hair services
