Happy birthday in advance to you Steve.
My wife and I purchased one of those Entertainment books where you purchase one meal and the the second (cheaper) one free. It really works well when you got out 6-10 times a year or more.

To 'slow', I agree. The Cliff House has great potential, but amateurish service and mediocre food. If it weren't for their location, they'd have been out of business years ago.

I heard there was a chinese buffet next to Sam's club. A co-worker said that it was almost as bad as Folsom Seafood buffet on E. Bidwell. Anybody have differing opinions? |
For good Chinese Seafood Buffetts, you gotta get out of Folsom.

It's worth the drive and save U a trip to SF. Try their $24 special which includes House Soup, Whole Crispy Chicken, Peking Spareribs, Salted & Pepper Shrimp, Mushroom and Chinese Greens, Dessert. That's enough food for four to six. Enjoy.

Yes, I wish they'd bulldoze that place and put in something fresh, new and with great food and service! Maybe 3 or 5 stories high with glass all around the sides that face the water for better views indoors.
Maybe then it will be a place for local residents too instead of a tourist trap for people who don't know better or people who just want to splurge and eat with the nice view once a year.

I would be less concerned about a new hair style, and worry more about cosmetic dentistry.

Thanks forumreader for reminding me - I do have a dental appointment at 2 pm today. How did you read my mind? Cool.....
That sure is an ugly chicken.

Susan&Rich earlier suggested JUMBO SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, but I'd like one with more Hunan & Szechwan specialties. (From what I've read, it seems like JSR is mostly Cantonese.)
Thanks!
