Just a suggestion- since we need a 2000 vote burst and then maintain that to keep us in the lead , has anyone contacted the local news stations for a possible spot on the morning or other shows about this ? Especially since Sutter is the only school in CA to be a finalist.

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Last night at closing (9pm PT) we were down around 1000 votes. Today we are down 500. Good progress but we need to keep voting and build a lead of 2000+ going forward next two weeks. GO FOLSOM...keep voting everyday.

Samsung Contest LinkSamsung is dedicated to helping children share the wonder of life, learning, and the planet. Through the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest we will give away more than $1,000,000 worth of technology to schools around the country.

Samsung and its partners called on public school teachers to raise student interest in science, technology, engineering and math by inviting them to answer the challenge, "Show how science or math can help the environment in your community." More than 1,500 application essays came from teachers and students across the country. The top 25 were chosen and sent video production kits containing a Samsung laptop, camcorder and software from Adobe. Twelve finalists have been selected and are featured on this site.

The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Judging Panel will select four grand prize winners and we´re asking you to help select the fifth grand prize winner — our Community Choice Winner — by voting below. Click on the videos below to view, then vote for your favorite!

Vote Now - Public Voting Closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, March 12, 2012!

When I got home at 9ish, I posted the happy news that Sutter was at 50,883 and the high school in NY competing with us was at 50298...I sent strategic posts on FB...our kids are at 51,311 now and the NY high school kids are at 50,377. WE can break the 52K mark while those New Yorkers are sleeping if you spread the word....Tweet Text whatever-Folsom is a tech town and we can't let a farm town beat us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The power of social networking is a major factor so use it!!!!

Down by close to 1000, they obviously have been voting while we're sleeping in the morning. Vote!

I sent an email to all my friends in my address book. Maybe we can get a bump from some of my relatives in the Mid West.

Has KFBK run a story on this?

Some of the youth sports teams will be sending out emails to their members to get on the voting bandwagon for Sutter. I believe even Folsom High is now voting as well.
