Spring!?!? I thought you said in 1 month in an earlier post!? We have a lot of electronics that we need to look into buying - specially a large screen HDTV....

Has anyone heard of the exact day/week of opening?

Best Buy is around many years in Sac but for some reason I never went to check it out until couple weeks ago, and now I like it. Yes NOW!!

Thanks for the info on the markets with fresh fish. (BTW..for whoever asked, I used to go to the Draegers in Menlo Park). While I am at it, I may as well finish my vote!

Fresh Choice or another salad bar, good chinese and thai restraunts, mall, 99 Ranch, Outback, a good brewery/restraunt, large garden/nursery store, and I already said Draegers.

Ah! Falafels!!!! Did any of you Bay Area transplants ever try the Falafel Drive-in by Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara/San Jose? God, I miss that place! Awesome banana milk shakes, too!

Somewhere in this rather lengthy thread, someone mentioned an Asian market that was about to open in Rancho Cordova. Well, I just went there. They opened less than a month ago. The name is Koreana Plaza, and it is huge. (It's in a former American grocery store -- Albertson's I think, but I'm not positive.) Though my DW says they aren't quite as big as 99 Ranch Market -- that thing must be incredible!

Anyway, this place seems to have everything. Even if you're not shopping for Asian food, if you're close by, you may want to stop in. The fruit & veggie prices are significantly less than in most markets. (For example, grapefruits at $0.25 each, Fuji apples at $0.50 / pound, oranges 10 lbs for $1!)

They're in a little shopping center called "Zinfandell Square". There's a Mervyn's there. It's off of Olson Dr & Zinfandell, at 10971 Olson Dr.

Sorry if this is somewhat OT, but I thought a couple of people may be interested in this.

yeh i would like to go check that out
