'This may all sound like a bad story, but it is true..'

I am not sure what it has to do with the restaurant. Do you want sympathy customers?

Gina, I believe Mandee was trying to explain why things haven't gone as well as she had expected -- her way of telling us the problems do not define her standards.

How about this folks..

Instead of getting all worked up and bent out of shape about what this restaurant is really like, making assumptions, making accusations, spewing crap - all based one or two negative reviews (mixed if you'll notice with several positive reviews) - without ever having tried it - why don't you try it and come to your OWN personal conclusion about the place.

Anyone can say anything they want about a place but that is THEIR opinion of it.

One person may not like french fries, so they hate places that serve them, another person may love french fries so they love places that do serve them - to each their own.

give it a try and then post what YOU think about it instead of buying in to what someone else says about it.

Try to stop looking at the world as if it is out to get you - as if everything is so negative, lighten up a little, expand your horizons, get out of your house and do your own sampling - come to your own conclusions...thats the ONLY way to tell for sure.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Mylo!? Where's your hot or not comments to get this thread interesting again!?

Come on man, you're slackin'.

Hahaha.. I've been busy tongue.gif

I am interested to hear if F500's question got answered? Sorry, I don't buy "same subnet", that doesn't even work for AOL anymore! The chances are slim. But yeah, 10 times, maybe not.

Wow so many replies while I have been at work! Cheetos on your sandwich, that actually sounds good to me. Anything with cheese, I love! I did however just wanted to say a quick im sorry. In my "hello letter im the general manager" I was in no way asking for sympathy or pushing religion. I dont even remember mentioning christianity, but it has been a long two days. No symphathy is needed or expected, I have had an amazing almost 26 years here, a wonderul family, a place to sleep, good friends, many laughs and even though life is rough, challenging, difficult, i must say it has been one heck of a ride. And I'd say 90% of the time, you will see me smiling. Its what I do best. I will be in tommorrow from 4pm-close if anyone of you would like to come meet me. Have a great friday night!

Yeah, I read back, I vote same person. Thanks Chad for the paragraphs... but you barely scratched the surface.

Sadly, this "down home country cookin'" isn't really my deal, so I'd probably poopoo the place even if it's got my steak, eggs and beer. However, I'll probably give it a chance anyway. I think I'll pass on the blessings and salutations, but if the food's good, I'm all for it. I like to see a small business succeed, no matter how many names it goes under.

errr, yeah, what you said.

I think they're getting uppity because she's being sneaky and religious.

I'm with them on the sneaky part though.

Mandee seems like a nice person to me. She is clearly trying to correct past wrongs and make her new restaurant work. I didn't see where she was pushing religion or anything like that myself. She mentioned her health issues as a way of explaining the chaos that happened in the restaurant around that time, and thus the possible poorer than usual service.

I agree with davburr........try it out on your own and then formulate opinions. Until then, you have no right to attack this person.

As for the multiple names- she explained that too- computer is at work and various employees have used it trying to help out.

Once we figure out where this restaurant is, we will give it a try. smile.gif

Farley, I learned my English from nuns with HUGE yardsticks! Actually, my father was from Sicily and he was passionate about the correct use of the English language. He spoke 5 languages fluently and could write four of them expertly.

Also, add lose and loose to our list of problem words. You are one of the few that use it correctly.
