How so? I made my interests in going before Aloha was decided upon. Also, I enjoy eating in the company of others from time to time, but since I'm not a devout roll lover, I shall depart for the real stuff.

Actually, that is from a well documented speech by Abraham Lincoln.
On a less trollish note, it was an absolute pleasure to meet and dine with all of you. Tommy was elegant and cordial, and Aloha is officially my favorite Folsom sushi bar. I look forward to our next night on the town!

Jesse said he had a great time too. He is definitely up for it next week, if we don't have a baby by then. Keep us posted on what's going on for the holiday week. Sounds like it's a blast. I'm going to have to come out once I'm able to move around with a little less pain.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Many Americans like the rolls, and I do enjoy a roll every now and then. However, my parents and I were at another sushi restaurant this past weekend and had the best sushi in the Sac area again.
They brought out a live scallop for us to show it was fresh when the cut it (the woman sitting next to us freaked out when she saw it move when the chef touched it). They made me a special dish using jelly fish along with the fish that I ordered, and they make a dish that my parents haven't had for over 30 years.
Also their cooked food is better than other Japanese restaurants we've been to.
But as you have stated Spicy, we each have our own prefrences. I don't know many hakujin that would eat something that was killed right in front of them, just like chances of finding me in a sushi restaurant like Aloha, Taiko, and the Mikunis chains (including Taro) are slim.
swmr545,
I received your email. Thank you for the info about your sushi place.

We didn't get any photos of the food, because unlike Taiko, we ate it all up instantly, but I did get a few of the table at the end. I'll post them later.
Nice meeting the new faces and seeing the ones I already know. Enjoy the next one Weds and I'll see you guys after the holiday.
