Is there a restaurant section plus the bar? I guess my real question is -- if we wanted to try this place for dinner, would bringing a child be inappropriate here?

I wouldn't. It's a pub, the tables are around the bar.

I agree. I bring my kids lots of places, but wouldn't bring them here.

Really? Streets mid-week for early dinner is always quiet and empty. I dunno, I guess I grew up in Pubs and wouldn't mind kids there early. However, by 9, it really turns into a bar.

I thought this was the Manderes thread! HA! However, it think I'd only take the kids to Streets if we could be outside. It smells like bar. Brought the kids to Yaegars once in the late afternoon and had deep-fried twinkies and decided never again. Smelly!

Last summer I took the kids to Yagers for their kids-eat-free night. They had it setup in the restaurant area with a clown making baloon animals and a reasonable number of servers. It was fine - pub smells and all. The kids enjoyed it, and I got a Dead Guy Ale (Rogue).
I would not take my kids to a pub for an adult themed event - trivia night, pint night, etc.
I also don't take them out at night. It is important for them to have a consistent, earlier bed time.
Honestly - my kids seem to prefer brighter, more family intended places. They would be fine for an early Manderes trip, but I don't think it is worth it...

Stick to dinner time or earlier, and stay on the side right by the entrance and you should be OK.
That's what I do.
