Is there still an organized opposition? I thought by now they would have had their concerns addressed.

I still can't believe people exist who actually oppose this.

I think a new bowling alley can bring lots of fun for families and give the kids something to do other than hang out in parks and parking lots at nighttime... if you've ever visited one of the Strikes alleys in the area they can be very fun/family oriented.

Large amounts of alcohol and the Interweb don't mix, sweetie.

My response is simple. Would the residence of Empire Ranch, Brigs Ranch and Parkway want a empty shopping center with businesses like Romas and Rice Express hurting because there is no anchor store or have a family place like Strikes which is a family place and probably would be better than Folsom Lake Bowl.
Hey, I lived in Carmichael before moving to Folsom and went to Crestview Bowl a lot. However I don't go to Lake Bowl beacuse it is a dive.
Its good for the community and for families.

How's the progress coming on this place. Any word? Have they started construction yet?

No, but in other news, Lake Bowl started their multi-million dollar renovation and face-lift by slopping a coat of paint on the place and pulling some weeds! Oh, and they added 20 more Texas Hold'em video machines just for the hell of it.
...Saying what people are thinking but are afraid to say....

You obviously spend a lot of time there for someone who hates the place so much.

That place needs to be bulldozed...

You mean Crestview Bowl isn't a dive?! It's been a really long time since I've been there, but I recall it as the diviest of dives.
