I have been planning to wear black to the opening all along. The Tee-shirts, though an interesting idea, are not an option - at least not a legal one - as you would need permission from the estate (the Cash Family) and though they did give permission to name the bridge after Johnny, it is unlikely they would allow the Tee-shirts. This is particularly important, since the Cash Family was watching the Council meeting during which 4 of the 5 Council members seemed intent on naming it anything other than after Johnny Cash. If I were the Cash family, I would tell the City of Folsom to take a long walk off a short pier!
Kerri
I hope the Cash familiy is not mad at the people of the city of folsom but just the idiots who call the shots (please excuse yourself) I am thinking if you can buy cash shirts they must be approved
you know its too bad the boys never let you be mayor after all your service so whats the good in behaving yourself. be a little outspoken, liven the old meetings up. there were times when I was listening to old miklos or starskey where I just wanted to stand up and yell "bull...t but I was afraid the police would grab me. they might let you get away with it and even if they busted you your myfolsom.com friends would mount a free Kerri movement.
I haven't figured out where the new ernie guy fits in, the times I have heard him he seems like a nice but simple soul, which would probably mean old miklos would spin his web around him and give him a couple of crumbs.
a radical fiesty kerri might wake folsom up. this cash bridge thing is a fun issue but it sure points out miklos and company don't give a hoot about what the folsom people think
hey wear black and raise your hand in a fist of protest like those olympic folks did a long time ago
