Their schnitzel is the bomb. Its actually a hard dish to do well. The side dishes are fabulous...great braised red cabbage, good spaetzle. The burger was very good but I'd get the mayo and mustard on the side because it was laid on a little too heavily. Good pastas. The smoked salmon appetizer served on a salad makes for an excellent light main course.
I'm going to have to go back pretty soon to try the braised pork shank. Done well thats one of the best dishes on the planet. Oh, and I need to try some of those homemade sausages.
Two thumbs up.

I gotta point out though - Allen's the man making it happen (he started this thread) - that guy has really been helping Old Europe a lot and he helped me get that gig - all the credit goes to him for doing a helluva fantastic job there in helping manage things and plan the future and he and his friend Steve have been creating new art, logos and a great new website. Allen's one very smart dude and with him, you, me and everyone else spreading the word, Old Europe's going to do very well in the new location.
Come on down folks - great food, great beer and good times!

I had the German Burger today - I dripped mustard on my shirt so I am hiding in my cube the rest of the afternoon. Got great service from Dave and Allen!
Allen - I found Old Europe Folsom on Facebook.

yea, after you left I asked Dave if that was you (I wasn't sure since I had only met you once). I should have come over and bothered you. I will next time. Looked like you were pretty busy with your son.

And dang! Dave said he would be there today and I planned to wrap up and get there for lunch but got bogged down. It would have been good seeing everyone that was there. Next time.
