Each Walmart store has a local charity budget. They have limits how much they can give to one organization so they really spread it around, and you don't have to be huge to get their attention. The one in Rancho gave us a thousand bucks for Spikes for Bikes last year, and there were about a dozen of us in the club at the time.

Very cool! Good to know!

Another thumbs up for Urban Dog and Sausage! Just visited last weekend for the first time. I had their spicy polish dog and a side of their home-made potato salad. Both were great, and the people were really nice. This isn't your average ballpark hot dog. This is a high quality dog in a fresh baked bun with top notch fixings. They have a wide variety of dogs, sausages, and even a burger on the menu. I think the prices are very fair. I will definitely be back.

Had lunch there today with my wife, awesome as always.

I counted 16 customers from 11:30-12:15. Not too shabby.

The Neal's meals went to Urban Dog and Sausage in mid August. There were 15 people in the group. Everyone loved the hot dogs, burgers and the sausage's. There were complaints from everyone though. Everyone thought that the buns were way over steamed. They fell apart as you tried eating your meal making a big mess. No one in the group liked the cole slaw or the potato salad. Some of the group has returned for lunch and said the problem with the buns did not happen with the second visit. Maybe the buns at dinner time had been in the steamer for several hours. Once again! The dog's, sausage's and burger's were loved by everyone but the bun's and salad's left a lot to be desired.

Went there today for lunch, best hot dog I have had in a long time. I had the chili dog with onions and mustard. Awesome, friendly staff. The only complaint I had was they only had 2 people working and they were packed for the lunch crowd, although it was worth the wait. If you are looking for great food, you gotta try this place!!

I grew up on Vienna Beef products -- there's nothing that compares -- so I'm thrilled to have Urban Dog in Folsom. However, I really, really, really, really wish they'd start also serving the Vienna Beef Italian beef sandwiches.

When I went last Wednesday, the person at the counter said they were adding a beef sandwich based on customer requests...

I enjoyed my dog, but I think some others like this place more than I did.

Whoa, Nellie! Hold on to your hats. That's outstanding news. We had Italian beef in Chicago last weekend; what a treat.

Are they going to serve Vienna sausages on 1.5" long buns?
