We actually met Food Enthusiast_95630 at Folsom Palace yesterday & when she heard me mention my folsom.com reviews were great. She mentioned how people thought she was the owner or a friend of the owner of Chez Daniel & it was self promotion. She actually owns & runs her own restaurant in Granite Bay. She knows food and is in the kitchen every single day. I would definitely respect a review written by her

We just went to dinner for our anniversary and everything was excellent. The service was prompt and attentive and the food was very good. The restaurant was very quiet, only one other table was occupied. We like that but I worry about it from a business point of view.
I did find a menu on the website, but it didn't match the dinner menu when we got there. The soup was terrific and included with the entree, as was the salad and dessert. We didn't get to choose dessert, he brought out three, but I think we all got what we would have chosen. We would like to go back, but it is not in our normal budget, we dont go out much. I'm sure we will go back when we can.

That place is very nice, love the food there. Glad to hear you had a nice time.

I don't think they have a website though (when I last talked to Daniel about it he said he didn't want to advertise).
However there is a chezdaniel website, but that one is located in Minnesota.

You're right, I searched Chez Daniel Folsom but the menu was from another city. I guess that's why it was completely different.
