I heard similar stories when they first opened.
The restaurant is owned by the same guy(s) that owned Bailies (they recently sold it).
I think they kept the staff from when it was Lanza's, and were working on the service.
I've eaten there for lunch once, and had appetizers in the bar a couple of times. The food was good.

I found a moth in my salad at the Sizzler in Folsom, but have still been back there since.
The Mongolian BBQ place (on Bidwell, next to Tricks gymnastics) is pretty good.
Any Round Table pizza not located in an airport has the best pizza (anyone who disagrees is obviously itching for a fight).
And the A&W across from Costco is now open, although I haven't been yet. Rootbear float straight from the fountain is the best.

They opened a few months ago by Kohl's, and it's a great place.
Pho Hoa is a chain of Vietnamese noodle restaurants, and although they have meat dishes their main attraction is soup.
My family's been going to Pho Hoa since the early 90's, in their first location in San Jose, and before the one here in Folsom opened we would actually commute to Sacramento just to go there.
Healthy, customizable, very reasonable prices, and amazing taste.

Todai is coming to Sacramento. It has similar foods to Asian Buffet of Roseville, except MORE and MUCH BETTER.

Fat's Asia Bistro will open in Folsom next year and lots more (dozens) restaurants of various kinds will be here in 2006 and 2007 after the mall opens.
Maybe Folsom will have a "Hotdog on a Stick" and Il Fornaio across from each other in 2007!
