I'm more concerned about a Government that has gone out of control. Even with this current President I see a deminishing of the checks and balances that were put into place during the founding of this Nation.The real life occurance of a major earthquake that sinks part of California is a very valid reason. I think most can agree that potentially in our lifetimes this can happen. Scientists have been saying it for years. This is what I prep for. A disaster of that scale will send people into a frenzy and I need to be able to protect my stores of survival stuff in the hills. The have nots will be the problem and they will try and take whatever they can by any means. People get crazy when they're hungry.

I would offer the challenge to all posting here to read the 2nd amendment. I did to make sure my arguments stayed in the framework of what our forefathers intended....
As passed by the Congress:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

The thing that concerns most people is how easily people are indoctrinated and brainwashed by our schools, by our universities, and by our main-stream media. Then those people turn into raging Liberals at a young age...and therein begins the demise of a society, a culture, and a country. It's a shallowness of thought. The most important thing in their universe seems to be the hoax of global warming, the myth that guns are "bad", successful people are evil, and the fact that we have a black president !!! They conveniently ignore the fact that this president/clown knows NOTHING about the free market, economics, and the importance of the private sector. Then those same Liberals, along with a "look-the-other-way" media, move heaven and earth to protect Obama and his increasingly corrupt and incompetent regime.
Why is Barack Obama, and out of control Liberalism and Govt control, so important to them??
Do they want to "win" so badly that they don't even care if the country goes to hell ??
Is "winning" that important to them ?? Do they realize they are just "stooges" for the Democrat machine ?? The Liberal machine ?? The Union machine ??
At what point will they admit that they were "duped" ??
How much debt should this country have ?? How many scandals and cover-ups (involving actual deaths of Americans) are the Obama-bots willing to tolerate ??
I'm glad all those Democrats got their wish in November.
Now, what are they gonna do about it ??
I guess it will all have to collapse for them to get their "wake-up call". And "Impeachment" is NOT off the table !!

The NRA ad was no more repugnant than Obama parading the children at his presentation yesterday. His message "if you don't agree with me you want these poor children dead from gun violence". I am an NRA member and I did not take the ad literally but as a way to point out the hypocrisy of this administration. The executive orders are a joke. As this plays out you will see that it chips away at our civil liberties and rights to privacy. The EO's did nothing to curb what has happened over the years with mass shootings. I fear for the future of this country, we are on a slippery slope that we may not be able to recover from.
