Mandee,

Nice post- but can you please tell us why you are now on your third or fourth MYFOLSOM user Id before coming straight out and telling us that you are the GM of the place ?

If this is true, this type of deception does not bode well for full believability of the above story...

heaven - sent- 1997, fish relax are two of the other ID's - both of which bear too many similaritiies to your post today, timing , posting times, content etc... and both of these were to appear as written from a patron of the resturant and not from the owner.

So as a purported christian and honest person, since you seem to want a full disclosure of your life issues bringing you to this point and opening this restuarant, if would be helpfull to understand the reasoning for not being up front to start with...

I have no ill feelings toward you or the restaurant... I just dont like seeing this type of behaviour on this forum...

Cheers

Jessicad, welcome to MyFolsom. I thought alligate meant something else. Guess I'll have to look it up.

We ate breakfast there recently and thought it was pretty good. It was mid week and not too many people were there. We were in and out without any problems.

We just don't care much for the parking lot. It is not the most convenient one to enter and exit.

I agree very much they should have thought it through.

To join in on the spelling mistake mud-slinging,

JMH- If you thought alligate meant something at all, does that not show that you do not know it is not a word?

I popped in to meet Mandee and her husband today.

They seem like great folks, and the restaurant seems nice, too. They were closed for the time between lunch and dinner.

Mandee says that as hard as it was to read the negative comments, they did help her to improve service, so she's grateful for it.

I'll bring the family by for a bite sometime soon.

Selbs, there is no spelling mud slinging. Stop trying to start something ... I looked up alligate, which IS a word, and it means to attach or bind.

I feel that your words are shameful and as a christian myself and knowing the love of our heavenly father in my own personal struggles it is saddening to see a person like yourself saying that this behaviour is not ok. Mandee went out on a limb and disclosed her life to you and you call her story a deception. I am pained to see this because if you saw the way she ran around the resturant and made sure things were done to the best of the best and rode herself into the ground just to see that the customer got thier food and was taken care if you would retract your statement and apoligize for being uneducated in the premise behind her story and not call her a farse. I am praying for you . angry.gif

I thank you for looking up those words and i know that i am spelling and using them in the right manner. I was a speech and debate champion as well as working sometime in a lawyers office. I have learned the gift of gab. biggrin.gif

We popped in on Sunday to check the place out. Nice decor, very "grammas kitchen" smile.gif

However, since it was Fathers Day, they seemed extremely busy and a tad frantic. It took us a while to find "the list" to get on at the counter, and we were told about 30 minutes. From the looks of the tables and the expressions on those waiting, we decided to come back another day.

The menu looked good, and we will give it another shot on a less hectic morning smile.gif

Well, I taught high school English for 31 years, and both you and Mandee need some spellling and word choice reviews. Re-read your first sentence....you can say rambling can't you? It is also very judgmental for a Christian to say, " a person like yourself."

Folsom500 did not call her life a deception, he implied several different names on one computer appears deceptive.

The sentence beginning "I am pained..." is a jumble of unpunctuated words. To be effective it should have been broken into several sentences. One usually does not refer to a person as a farce; a farce is actually a type of play.

And please, what ever you do, do not waste any time or breath praying for me.

Once again it is there, their, they're. There is no word spelled thier!

Folks, can't we all get along?

Accusations were made, the reasons were explained plenty well enuf today and made complete sense (IMO)

Why are y'all condemning a restaurant manager who's taken the time to come here and try to explain things anyways?

Vendettas make life miserable - lets look up and try and keep things positive for a change.

Have a nice day sun.gif

I could read this very easily and quickly. The reason for that is that it is punctuated correctly. cool.gif

well I knew I had a strange mind - but only 55 (percent?) of people can read this? I was able to read every single word - yoinks! I'm wierd!

I've never been a stickler on the spelling people put in their posts because I can usually always figure out what they were trying to convey.

We want people to stay on this net. If someone spells a word wrong you do not need to jump on them. Let it go. Everyone did not major in English. My sun.gif earlier post was a joke.... Smile
