Humankind is about 1 million years old at most.

The time scale you are posting is when the earth was still forming.
Green plants thrived on high CO2 leading to the current stable, oxygen rich atmosphere.
That is until the polluters starting killing the air for short term monetary gain.

 

Most Americans want us to control pollution, to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords.

Humans didn't exist 65 million years ago.

The major life form was plants, which thrive on high CO2 levels. You KNOW that!

The key difference is that the atmospheric conditions were natural for that stage of terra-forming.

Now along comes humans, and in the last 400 years, HUMANS, not natural forces, changed the atmosphere by pollution.
Pollution that Trump seems to cheer on. Pollution that most of the sane world wants to control,

as evidenced by the Paris Climate Accords.

In the current era, we need stable oxygen levels, low CO2 levels to prevent further global warming.
