It is the day after, I don't see why the final three or the person that got kicked off should not be shown. Quite blackening them out....

I assume you meant "QUIT" blackening them out?

I was being courteous to those who may not have heard/watched the results yet. There are people who aren't tied to the TV every Wednesday nigth and Tivo/Tape things to watch later.

Again, I was doing it to be courteous. Please don't bite my head off.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.

"Again, I was doing it to be courteous. Please don't bite my head off."

All I was saying is that I thought we could talk about the results from last night. If people don't want to read it, don't read it.... That should be pretty clear....

Then what exactly is the sense of having a spoiler code in the first place?

If you tivo'd and don't want a spoiler, the last place you would turn to would be a discussion of the results. It seems like overkill to blank something out just in case someone didn't watch and stumbles on this discussion unknowingly.

Sanjaya is amusing. He'll stay for awhile.

Anyone reading these boards know that people speak their minds. If you do not want to know results of what happened, don't read the board until after you have watched the program....

I everyone who keeps voting for Sanjaya will enjoy him when he goes on tour with the others in the top 10. Its becoming more laughable to see him each week he survives.

Say you get the East Coast feed over satellite (3 hours earlier than us)... and it hasn't aired yet on the West Coast. If you want to post it on this board before it even airs here... then it would be a courtesy to use the spoiler coding. Once the show has aired out here... I'd say its fair to talk about it without the blackening. Just my opinion.

So is there going to be a shocker somewhere along the line like last year when Chris Daughtery got kicked off in a classic TV moment. His reaction was gold.

That's the theory. The theory I've been hearing is that Melinda will actually not win, but will be voted off third or so, like Daughtery was.

Do you guys listen to Rob, Arnie and Dawn? Sounds like it! I normally don't because they irritate the heck out of me, but I always like to hear AI stuff. Rob's theory is that AI is rigged and that they always eliminate the best at around the top three or four. He thinks Sanjaya will be there a couple more weeks, just to keep people talking.

I think that Sanjaya does have a real teeny-bopper fan base, and that, combined with vftw, gives him enough votes. In a couple weeks, he'll go because the voters will have fewer contestants to vote for, therefore the number of votes per singer will go up.

I think the best are Lakisha, Melinda, and Blake. I think Jordin's great, but she's young.

I LOVE Jordin. Love love love her! She is the only one this season who has been able to give me chills with her singing. I love her. I hope she goes far, but like you, I am afraid that she is too young.

Spoiler!!@#@#$@! Now there's no sense in even spending 2-1/2 hours of my week watching! (And of course I trust you to be telling the truth. It's all in your facial expressions.)

Truly, when do they cut it back to a mere hour's time? At 6?

By 'home' do you mean his home planet?

The folks on Mars are po'd. He was supposed to assimilate, not stand out.

They're going to indulge him for one more week, then when Seacrest announces that he's a goner, he will be beamed up, Star Trek style, as he sings, 'My Eyes Adored You'.

You didn't hear it from me, though.
