OK, the guy is an OK quarterback at this stage of his career, but is anyone else tired of every broadcast of a Packer game turning into a coronation of Favre? I mean, enough already. It becomes a gushing suck-up-fest every time. Hey, he's a QB, not the second coming of Christ, folks. The whole praise-a-thon and talking about Favre in almost Biblical terms has really gotten old...and ridiculous. Just my .03

Any QB that smokes a Denver Broncos team gets an A+ from me

I agree that Favre gets too much love from sportscasters and he's been lousy the last couple of years, but it's hard to say he isn't the third best QB this year and no one is doing more with less. The Packers are dead last in rushing and their receivers ard nothing special, yet still no one can cover them?

I know I'm shocked, but I'm still willing to give credit where it's due. Winning the NFC may be a consolation prize but if the Pack are in contention for it this year it is solely because of Favre.
It's Saturday night. I have no date, a 2 liter bottle of Shasta, and my all Rush mix tape. Let's rock.

I guess CBS isn't expecting the Texans against Raiders game to be sold out on Sunday. They are scheduling us with the Colts against the Patriots instead! Whew... would have been a travesty!

Aaaaaawwwwww! You mean the Raiders Vs. the Texans won't be the "Game of the Year"? What a shame, guess I'll have to settle for the Patriots and Colts. Go Patriots! smile.gif

All you loyal members of the Raider Nation please do us all a favor and don't buy anymore tickets to Sundays game. We missed the Duel in big D because of you, and we sure do not want to miss the game of the year this Sunday! Sack up and stay home.

A letter to ALL Raiders fans...

Thank you very much for selling out very few of your home games over the past several years. You have made it so I can actually watch a decent football game when you are supposedly to be on my TV. I owe you one for not selling out this Sunday... so I can watch one of the best regular season match ups between the Patriots and the Colts!

Signed...

Hey Y'all

Get picks in for this weekend.

Newbies can still sign up for weekly prizes, though you'll have to be awfully good to win the TV.

Go 9ers! You can beat Atlanta, can't you?

I was bragging to me wife that overall I was 2 games a head of her. She then put me in my place by reminding me that one week she didn't get her picks in and had to take 13 losses and she did win one of the weeks!

Congrats to Brown for his decisive victory in this week's pool. Eric went with his home town in the Colts vs. Bolts game.

Eric wins a $25 gift certificate to the Wine Gallery on Sutter St.

The Wine Gallery recently recieved an Arts Achievement Award from the City for their contributions to the community. It's a great space to hang out, have some wine, and be surrounded by fine art.

Congrats to Ken aka F500, in winning this weeks pool. Ken only got one wrong this week, the Arizona vs. Cincy game. Ken gets a $25 gift certificate to The Wine Gallery (aka Procissi Cellars) at 627 Sutter, here in Folsom.

Owner Wayne Procissi will be pouring his wine at the upcoming Taste of December, on Dec 1, at Rancho Cordova City Hall.

Don't forget to get your picks in by 11pm tomorrow, as we've got 3 games on Thursday.

If you haven't joined, it's not too late to win the weekly prizes, though it's about impossible to win the grand prize.

Good luck y'all!

Go 9ers!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I knew I forgot something last week!

I was 2 points behind Scotty and then forgot to fill out last week's picks. Dammit! Now I'm screwed out of the rest of the season!

That's 11pm eastern time. My wife found out the hard way a few weeks back.
