Once I saw that 15% discount sign go up a few months ago I knew that place was in trouble. Worst location ever doesn't help. And I guess have all the non-paid boat people as the cooks etc couldn't even save them. Man, it's tough out there!

Interesting. Every time I see a post or a new thread started about a restaurant here I wonder if it is a "this restaurant went out of business" post.
The location is not THAT bad.
If it was a better restaurant, I would have made the very mild extra effort it takes to turn into the parking lot. I would not have gone any more often if the location was better and the place no better. It was worth the extra effort to drive all the way to Roseville for Asian buffet because the food was better there.

Once when we were driving by we saw the Clark man there - that can't be good. I guess that's the price you pay for a really visible location. Oh, and we are sure he was "working" there as opposed to having lunch - the van (one of only a couple cars in the lot) was backed up to the front door. I would think the exerminator would show up to a restaurant in a more discreet vehicle - sheesh!

I'd rather they were PREVENTING the buggies with an exterminator, then NOT PREVENTING them, and letting it go...

We
The location isn't ideal but put a good value, good food restaurant there and it should work especially if they make use of the patio terrace. Lyon's was well just Lyon's and Sizzler likely failed because they didn't build the salad bar properly (not as big as other sites, difficult to get around when busy).

Best Chinese Food in Folsom (my vote)
1. Hop Sing Palace
2. Rice Express on Natoma and Blue Ravine
3. t2 Yuan (what the heck does that mean, by the way?)

I couldn't agree more. Sakura was a much better place to eat. Sad.
