Ditto here - I thought for sure Ramiele should have been the one to go this time

I predict she will be in the top four. If not, she'll be #5. She's not going home any time soon. She has way too much support. It's the same as Jasmine Triaz who was awful, as well as that Hawaiian girl Camille. Yup, Ramiele ain't goin' nowhere.

I liked Chikezie and I liked that he brought something different. While I think Syesha sings well, she's just another good singer to me. Nothing really makes her stand out to me. But, most of all, I really want to see Kristy Lee Cook hit the road.

I think you're right on, all the way around Stacy.

Jesse's theory on Syesha is that she will be hurt by the fact that she is another "diva type" singer and American Idol has put out SO many of them in the past few years... Jordin, Melinda, Kimberly Locke, Fantasia... winners and non-winners, alike... there have been many of her type of singer. I agree with him. That will hurt her chances.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

If it is a singing competition, Chikezie should have stayed, and Syesha should not have been in the bottom two.

Instead, it's more of a personality contest.

Jason's goof-ball act is wearing thin, as is the 12 year old David's 'gosh, golly, gee-whiz' persona. Kristy Lee probably won the hearts of millions of patriotic folks around the country. I hear that next week she's going to sing 'America the Beautiful' (the Ray Charles version).

Romeilie (whatever the correct spelling is), is quite cute but amateurish.

The Aussie, um, no.

The wierd look on Carly's face when she sings is a turn-off.

I guess Syesha is a bit too 'Whitney-Mariah-Celine' like.

Brook and the rocker dude seems to be the front runners.

That'll be $5

nice summary! I agree with your assesments and the front runner selection

Romellie or the Aussie has to be the next to go..

Very Nice! Worth at least $10.
If I may add, Not only Carly's facial expressions, but those summer teeth!
And instead of Whitney/Mariah/Celine, I think Syesha looks like Lauren Hill way back when Lauren Hill was still relevant, and sounds like a really good background vocalist.

I totally missed most of AI this week, but I'm hoping that Kristy gets the boot soon.

A couple weeks ago when she did a country version of a Beatles song, it was just horrifying. There is a way women who don't listen to modern country sing country. Like they're Lorretta Lynn or the freaking Mandrell Sisters. I was waiting for the HeeHaw cornfield to roll across the stage. What the heck was that about?

Ok follks here's the best darned AI evaluation you'll see...

I used to play professionally and while I never had a hit single I have played in front of a couple thousand people before... I do know music a bit...

for starters... there's a kid that didn't make the top 24 - Josiah Lemming should have been on there... but he's working on a record contract now or already has one... this kid had some serious talent and if he get's his mind right.. should go really far...

Check out this link about him...

http://new.music.yah...ith-warner-bros

The Aussie dude... he did a decent version Light my fire and that is what has kept him in the contest until he did a decent job on that Queen tune... He'll be around for a while... looks do count and he might have that star look...

David Cook... While I didn't see the version Soundgarden did... this guy really blew me away and had me standing up clapping my hands... he'll have to really pick the right song next week to top that performance...

Brooke... Damn she is going to be a star... She's such a sweet looking pretty eyed gal that has a stong versatil voice... I have disagreed with Randy and Simon on her Beatle rendition of Here Comes the Sun... I thought she really projected a pro singer look and she has shown she's got a range... I hope she takes the advice of the judges and does more country stuff...

David Archeuletta... the kid has a voice and was the odds on favorite, but as Simon has said over and over... it's song choice in this competition and the last 2 weeks he's been weak...

Syesha... Whoa... I think Randy got it all wrong on her and Simon disagreed with him if I remember... she was good and she's got the pipes and the looks... She might be another gal that could do acting, singing and modeling... she doesn't have to worry about getting a gig in the entertainment business if she keeps her head on straight... she's a real looker and that helps...

Carly Simson - Big dissappointment for me the last 2 weeks... and she I think was Simon's favorite... and I think Brooke is his "sleeper" pick...

Those are my top 6...

The rest... Ramiele... she's just hung on... cause she's a cutie and she does have a strong voice... but she really needs to pick a song that will identify her and she hasn't found one yet....

Kristly Lee...will be in the bottom again if she doesn't really come out and blow us away...

David Castro... same... he can sing.. but hasn't blown us away...

I predict it will be Kristy Lee out next week...

Of course some of the others up there could really stink up the place with a poor song selection...

Overall since I've just gotten hooked on this program since the end of the 2005 season... This group is almost as good as the 2006 group which gave us Kelly Pickler and... of course Daughtry... neither one won it and yet are out there on the radio and selling hit records.... Kelly Pickler has a nomination for country music award for new artist of the year... I think Elliot Yamin is doing ok although I haven't seen any of his records...

But this year looks even better with the talent... and we're not even counting Josiah Lemming... remember he was the kid sleeping in his car....

Wasn't Josiah the one who looks as if he would kill you in your sleep?

I say....Jason Castro is gone.

That Aussie guy sure found his groove.

It will be him or that little gal Ramiele... she's never impressed Simon and while I know she can sing.. she has never really come out and made a big impression...

it's like Simon said... you sang it good... but it was forgettable... he used that "sounds like what you would hear on a cruise ship" line a couple of times...

This is really going to get hard from here on out... If Jason makes it through he'll be next... then Cristy Lee unless she comes out with a huge performance... and Brooke White has to be careful... she wasn't that hot last night either...

David Cook by the way went into the hospital after the show last night....high blood pressure....

I must admit that when I saw it was going to be Dolly Parton night, I had low expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Rocker Dude, Aussie, Little Boy Blue, Irish all sang well.

Brook and Dreadlock Dude were weak. Syesha was strong, though I don't know if it was appreciated. The country girl was good, but as Simon put it, 'forgettable'.

Ramiele was cute, but he number may be up.
