Kids shouldn't even be allowed in there. God knows what's growing within the walls, floors, and ceiling of that place.

Previously, F&E was identified as moving into both locations, but with this economy and everything constantly changing who knows.

Hopefully Strikes will find a place in Folsom, however, now I fear it will not be with-in walking distance for my son if & when it does come.

Hmmm so Fresh and Easy will open in about a year or so, then about a year after that it will shut it's doors because it won't be able to compete with the Raley's that is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! Seriously, why would they want that location????

My guess/bet is that we'll be discussing this all over again by 2010. Strikes will hopefully already be somewhere in Folsom so I'll bet the neighbors who yelled about Strikes coming will wish they had left better enough alone! Maybe a satellite campus for Centerfolds would be good there!

I guess some local rumors (rumours for King Mylo once he's elected) are true. See post #112 on Aug 5.

Also, it sounds like it was more a negotiation falling out and had nothing to do with the opponents per the owner of Strikes.

I think it's safe to assume that the owner of the property took into consideration the neighbor's efforts when deciding to whom he would award the lease. I personally would have weighed longevity in the space in much higher regard and thus would have awarded the lease to Strikes. It'll cost him alot more to get the space ready to rent again once Fresh & Easy Tanks and the space is vacated in a few years.

Yes, I'm a bit pessimistic! Just don't see how a grocery store can do well there when Raleys is right across the street and Safeway is just up Green Valley Road!
