Yeah well, tell that to the judge and see how far it gets you. Like they say, wish in one hand and............The world is built on the fine print. Even on the case mentioned (car dealer in Florida???) I seem to remember the dealership saying they would make good on it by sending them 25.00 a month as long as the client sent them their receipts for gas. I believe it was "in good faith" meaning not a court order but a PR move. I doubt a court would side with the customer on such a case. Rebates and these types of incentives are always full of fine print and limited liabilities. This new company has an insurance policy that kicks in if the model (less than 10% follow through???) breaks down and suddenly more people actually participate. It seems like their business model built upon people being flakey has been working for them for many years.
I sent my first coupon in 8 weeks ago so I should get my visa card tomorrow.......
