There is just one major comment I have to make: Robert G. is very careful to post factual material. If you know where to investigate, you can confirm everything he has said.

Getting it into a court of law in hard economic times is another story. Using the AG is difficult because that position is supposed to work at the whim of the governments who bring problems to the AG office.

City employees have incredible amounts of dirt which remains hidden because their reputations would be destroyed as well as their careers if they spoke the truth voluntarily. Look at what happened to past city employees who were city engineer and sewage manager. Where there is micro-managing by elected persons, there are automatic problems.

A grand jury is a resource, but again, these are hard times and problems abound.

As South of 50 goes forth, you will see all expenses go up, pricing many residents out of the city. Too bad the electorate is not self-informed.

Someone mentioned a past mayor who quickly (after appointment) got himself arrested in a sting located where no court gave police authorization to be trolling. That same man kept his state job, had no criminal record from the event, and his highest superior was terminated within a short time after his arrest. Hope you get the drift, and keep asking elected persons the important questions, and keep asking for Public Records.

I do.
I directly sent an email to her askeing for her input and directed her to this thread. She refused to respond. That was nearly a year ago. As far as I know, she never addressed this publicly, either.

This is worrisome to me. Any public official who is politely informed of such accusations against them and does not make a concerted effort to clear her name or find follow professional ethical guidelines and hand such accusations over to authorities for examination makes me feel the person is not fully trusting the legal system in the town they represent.

My faith in this person as a "good guy" is seriously damaged, now. So much so, that I cannot in good conscience vote for her into any office, again. She needs to address this.

I wanted to share my appreciation for your courage to make your post and diligence into checking into this!

You can dislike me and disagree with every post I ever made, but that doesn't change any fact about this incident.

All I've ever tried to do was to get someone to confirm or deny they were involved in this incident. The reason why they never responded is because if they confirmed they were, then people would explore if it was handled properly and consistent with all other citizens or was there preferential treatment given.

Also, if they confirmed there were, yet there isn't any record of this happening, that is going to raise all KINDs of red flags!

They can't very well deny they weren't involved as too many know and saw what happened.

The only thing they can do is to ignore it and avoid making any comments, hoping it will go away and that enough of their blind supporters will run interference trying to deflect the truth.
