Time to vote out all incumbents who have been on the council over 6 years - that would be ALL OF THEM.

Get out and vote to bring new people on board and get rid of the good ol' boys club that is wholly owned by developers.

Would it surprise you to know how many times certain council member(s) recused themselves from voting on city legislation items due to conflict of interest (during only 2014)?

Has anyone asked to see their statements filed with the state, showing their income sources and affiliations?

Ask the Bee to inquire, and Sacramento Business Journal.

The FPPC has Form 700 - Statement of Economic Interest online:   http://www.fppc.ca.g...ndex.php?id=680

It is current through December 2012, so it will give you some historical knowledge.

I noticed a lot of Gaylord signs that were up along Iron Point are now removed.  On at the Oak Ave intersection and one on the fence at the Yoga Construction near Folsom High are both gone.

I have a "Chad for Folsom" in my yard. The first two days I noticed that, by the time I came home from work, it had been pushed over. I was getting irritated.

Turned out my husband's truck was taking it out when he turned out if the driveway. LOL

If you'd like a yard a sign let me know, I'll bring them over to you! Getting a lot of them out there already.

My neighbor has one, too. I wouldn't mind getting another so cars can see it when cars are coming from both ways; it's a somewhat busy street.

Several landowners and small businesses have informed me that they've been warned not support any one besides the incumbents or they will make they're lives a living hell with future projects. One directly from the Chamber CEO himself. I have five 4x8 signs gone now. Elliot Homes advised they will only allow the incumbents to post signs, so much for the democratic process. :)

I guess i'll just keep wrapping the cars with graphics.... harder to steal. LOL

Gosh, I hope that's not true.

Roger, really!? That is appalling. Did you at least get the signs back?

No, two of them I put up on the wrong land by mistake. I thought it was one developers but It ended up being Elliot Homes. I've left a few messages but no reply as of yet.

Same thing last election; spread the challengers thin and play the games they blame others for playing. Classic Folsom politics.

If true (and I'll go ahead and believe what you wrote), then this is antithetical to the American democratic system, and is worthy of an investigative report on the local TV news.  How dare anyone tell anyone else whom they can support, with the veiled threat of harm?  If this is going on, then it's time to bring down those who acted this way.

What the heck has Folsom become?

I can totally believe it. When I called code enforcement a couole of times to report Starsky's violations, I received no response. A friend of mine, who doesn't work for the city, but is very knowledgable (not Steve!) sent me a note to lay off the poor guy, that the guy had to follow his orders from his boss to not remove any of the incumbent's signs.
