Contrary to the wishes of the Right, the 65+ million folks who didn't vote for him are simply not going away.

Don't want you to go away, not at all.  Just want you to grow up and get jobs and contribute to society.  You all got way too much free time on your hands. And "protesting" is not a job by the way...   Unless you count breaking windows, burning cars, blocking traffic, and throwing bricks at the police as "working".....   Chris

I'm a law and order guy, and find it a little concerning that Mr. Trump swears to "uphold and defend the Constitution" a week and a half ago, and then proceeds to do things of questionable legality.

Something happened this weekend in response.  At JFK airport, several dozen attorneys showed up, and helped all the inbound immigrants who were being detained by DHS.  All they had to do was file a habeas corpus brief with a federal judge and DHS was required to release the person being detained.

What is interesting is that an attorney can do a little bit of paperwork and circumvent Mr. Trump's executive order easily.   It reveals the amateurish nature of Mr. Trump's approach to governing.

Look, I'm concerned about immigration issues too, and keeping bad actors out of the country.  But using blatantly illegal techniques to do it isn't going to work.  the guy is an amateur show.

It's a bit more than ironic that when the now fired AG Yates was being grilled by Congress the racist Jeff Sessions asked her if she thought the president was wrong ,would she stand up to him?..She said yes and was confirmed..Of course Sessions was referring to Obama..Just saying :who-me:

Careful Chris about the company you keep or are lumped in with. You are not someone who thinks that way. I did not see you behave in a repulsive way on the Folsom Teacher thread using racist memes and waving the rebel flag in a racist way while bringing up BLM out of left field. Nobody else was referring to BLM..In fact you and WDYT showed the historic lovers who are NOT racist with your interesting posts on the different flags....So that's not you Chris.

I know you may want to throw a lifeline to someone sinking here faster than the Titanic. A one trick pony of hate and racism. It's sad that many of the Deplorables get lumped in like this with the racist haters but the reality is they ARE the majority of Trumpolini's backing. I'd say they have a healthy 60% edge over the moderate Deplorables.

Speaking of numbers Trails thinks that out of 325 million we have here, Those in support of Trumpolini number between 75 and 100 million TOPS..and I am being generous...So the REAL snowflakes here are the ones always crying that we wont bow to Trumpolini as they do. :juggle:

One of my favorite parts of the day is logging onto MyFolsom and seeing the FAT (Forever Anti Trumpers) are still going insane over Trump. Total hysteria. Meltdown City. It means our side is winning. It means the FAT are in full denial. It means the FAT are out of control as they desperately try to demean Trump. Funny how the FAT throw around words like *amateur* and *narcissistic* and *racist* and *dictator* and *divisive*.

Did the FAT (and the MSM) ever apply those words to Obama? Did they EVER criticize Hillary? No, because the FAT and MSM are disingenuous, hyper-partisan one-trick ponies. They're phony, America sees it, and it bodes well for Trump in 2020. The FAT only get their news and info from the MSM, so it's not surprising that the FAT are wildly out of touch with reality. And remember, the MSM is the military arm of the Democrat Party, and Trump is burying them alive. So fun to watch.

Hey FAT, listen up. Get some Prozac, come out from under your bed, cancel your plans to build an underground cement bunker, and get your act together. You're acting weird. You don't need to hit the PANIC BUTTON!!

"Amateur" is fitting. Look up the definition.

But for California, it's really not going to matter a lot. As the guv said, Calif will continue with its agenda and ignore Washington for the most part. And if Washington comes up with something that impedes the state, Calif will simply find a way around it. This state is brimming with people who know how to think outside the box.

Amateur is fitting for who....Trump...?  A guy who started and ran hundreds of businesses and is worth billions...?   Or Obama who....   Well, went to law school on somebody elses dime and his occupation was "community organizer".......?   Now if you want an example of an "amateur president" you had that for the last 8 years.  I think Carter was not as bad as Obummer......   Pretty close though....

And maybe some of those people who think outside the box can think our way out of 400 billion in debt....?    Can't blame that on Bush, Trump, or Republicans can you....?   This is what happens when democrats are in control of spending and the budget for decades.   Chris

Debt is a pervasive problem for almost every state, and the fed too.  It's because the promise of spending gets people elected, no matter if they're left or right.  Some states have tried unconventional solutions.  In 2012, Kansas totally revamped their tax code in an effort to create a "trickle down" model.  It didn't work and they are currently in a major debt crisis.

Debt is an integral part of the global economic system.  Unfortunately, the free enterprise model encourages debt spending, from consumer to national government.  And it often gets out of control.  For consumers, debt spending is fun.  In government, debt spending gets you elected.  And the consequences happen a couple generations down the road when you're dead and gone.  It's been a serious problem for centuries.  Most major world powers have failed primarily because of crushing debt.  Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Spain, France, British Empire all failed due to out-of-control debt.  It'll probably happen to us too.

Second time you have cited Kansas....   Kansas has 2.9 million people at best, the Bay Area alone has about 7 million people.   So I am not impressed or persuaded by any mention of Kansas unless it has to do with the Wizard of Oz movie or tornadoes, which terrify me.  Agreed on the crushing debt of past and present countries.  In our situation I blame both parties for out of control spending but I blame the democrats in particular.  Like you said, spending gets them elected, works almost every time.  This is where the MSM has failed us, they fail to mention or gloss over the debt problem for and by the democrats and only get concerned about fiscal policy when there is a republican in office, all of the sudden money matters....?   Chris
