Nothing....?   Well you are totally wrong historically, of course, of course you are....!     Hadrian's wall, the Walls of Constantinople, the Chinese Great Wall, The Sumerians' Amorite Wall, the Wall of Jericho, The Long Walls of Athens, The Great Wall of Gorgan, The Berlin Wall, the wall around the Kremlin, the current West Bank Wall in Israel, the ancient walls of Mesopotamia....  The current wall around Nancy Pelosi's house in the Napa Valley (was there two weeks ago, saw it), and the wall around the Obama house in DC, and the wall around the Clinton compound in Chappaqua.....  And I am sure Schumer has a wall around his digs for sure...!  Do nothing....?  Obviously you are not as well read in history as I am.  You have some catching up to do my little Mays, read some human history about the last 4000 years and then get back to me......  I think I am 30 years well beyond your knowledge and comprehension of real history and human history.  Start catching up now, your arguments will be so much better a decade or so from now....!  At least that is my hope.... Welcome to 2019. Will your wall stop people from coming into the US? Will your wall stop the drugs from coming in? Try doing something at all of the POEs, try stopping the boats, cars, planes, trains from coming across. Would it not make more sense to spend money on technology that stops this, rather than on an inanimate object? I am not trying to be a jerk here, but seriously, it honestly does not make any sense. There are much better ways to spend $5.7 BILLION or more. I am trying to put up an olive branch here. Enough with all this BS back and forth. You believe one thing, I may not agree with much of what you say, but you are untitled to your opinions. I have much better things to put my energy into than this. Ummmm, most ports of entry HAVE a wall. Know why San Diego doesn't have masses swarming the border? They have a wall. Thats why the "asylum seekers" are stuck in TJ.  A border wall may only stop 90% of the current flow, but that's better than zero.  If you are not for the wall, you don't agree with Pelosi, Schumer, Obama or Clinton, who ALL voted to fund/build a border wall before Trump was elected.  Her is the main reason the Dems don't want a wall. Once it is in place, there is no "defunding" it like you can do with increased enforcement.

 

No nation on Earth has open borders. Borders, by definition, are kinda critical for defining a country. I guess if you are a globalist, they have no meaning.

 

Illegal immigration is simple to solve. Remove the magnet. ZERO benefits for illegals, NO birthright citizenship, Harsh penalties for employers of illegals. Problem solved.  There is an EXISTING path to citizenship. Those that want to become Americans will go through the process. Those that want to be foreign nationals sucking off America's teat will not.

 

Finally, walls work. Ever go to East Germany? Ever seen the Great Wall of China? Ever been to the Vatican?  Ever been to Europe and seen the walled cities? Ever seen the houses of the elites"?
